ABSTRAK
Pengaruh Kreativitas dan Inovasi Terhadap
Keberhasilan Usaha pada Industri Kreatif Rotan
di Jalan Gatot Subroto Medan.
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh
kreativitas dan inovasi terhadap keberhasilan usaha pada industri kreatif rotan di
Jalan Gatot Subroto Medan. Penulis menarik hipotesis bahwa kreativitas dan
inovasi berpengaruh positif terhadap keberhasilan usaha pada industri kreatif
rotan di Jalan Gatot Subroto Medan.
Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah perajin rotan yang terdaftar sebagai
anggota KOPINKRA Kota Medan. Jumlah sampel adalah 30 orang perajin yang
terdaftar pada KOPINKRA. metode penelitian populasi dimana seluruh populasi
dijadikan sampel. Data yang digunakan adalah data primer dan sekunder.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kreativitas dan inovasi memberikan
pengaruh yang positif terhadap keberhasilan usaha pada industri kreatif rotan di
Jalan Gatot Subroto Medan. Dan dari hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa
variabel kreativitas paling dominan mempengaruhi keberhasilan usaha pada
industri kerajinan rotan di Jalan Gatot Subroto Medan.

ABSTRACT
The Effect of Creativity and Innovation to
Business Succes in Rattan Craftsmen
at Jalan Gatot Subroto Medan
The Purpose of this research is to determine and analyze the effect of
Creativity and Innovation to Business Success in Rattan Craftsmen at Jalan
Gatot Subroto Medan. The authors take an interesting in hypothesis that
Creativity and Innovation has the effect to Business Success in Rattan
Craftsmen at jalan Gatot Subroto Medan.
Populations of this research are the rattan craftsmen whom registered
in KOPINKRA Medan. The Number of samples are 30 craftsmen. The
method of analysis that used in this research is population research method
which all of the craftsmen whom registerd used as samples. The data that
used are primary and secondary data.
The result showed that the creativity and innovation give the positive

and significant effect on business success in rattan craftsmen at Jalan Gatot
Subroto Medan. And the result showed too that creativity variable is more
dominant in effecting the business success in rattan craftsmen at Jalan Gatot
Subroto Medan.
