ABSTRAK

PENGARUH EARNINGS PER SHARE (EPS), RETURN ON EQUITY (ROE),
DAN SIZE TERHADAP CASH DIVIDEND PADA PERUSAHAAN
PERBANKAN YANG TERDAFTAR DIBURSA EFEK
INDONESIA DALAM PERSPEKTIF
AGENCY THEORY
Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh earnings per
share(EPS), return on equity (ROE),dansizeterhadap cash dividend pada perusahaan
perbankan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia Dalam Perspektif Agency Theory
periode 2010-2013. Metode pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive
sampling dan diperoleh sebanyak 10 perusahaan yang menjadi objek penelitian.
Penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder. Data sekunder dikumpulkan melalui
website Bursa Efek Indonesia yaitu www.idx.co.iddalam bentuk laporan keuangan
perusahaan.Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik analisis statistik
deskriptif dan teknik analisis regresi linier berganda.
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial variabel EPS dan Size
berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap cash dividend, variabel ROE berpengaruh
positif dan tidak signifikan terhadap cash dividend. Secara simultan EPS, ROE, dan
Size berpengaruh positif dan sinifikan terhadap cash dividend.

THE EFFECT OF EARNINGS PER SHARE (EPS), RETURN ON EQUIT(ROE),

AGENCY THEORY

The purpose of this research was to know the effect of the earnings per share
(EPS), return on equity (ROE), and size to cash dividend on the banking company the
listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange in perspective agency theory 2010-2013. The
sampling method used was purposive sampling and obtained as many as 10
companies who became the object of research. This research uses secondary data.
Secondary data was collected through the website of the Indonesia Stock Exchange
www.idx.co.id in the form financial statements. Data analysis techniques in this
research is descriptive statistical analysis techniques and multiple linear regression
analysis techniques.

The results of this research indicate that in partial EPS and SIZEvariables
positive and significant effect on the cash dividend, ROE variables positive and no
significant effect on the cash dividend. Simultaneously EPS,ROE,and SIZE positive
and significant effect on the cash dividend..
