Uji Ketahanan Beberapa Varietas Tebu (Saccharum officinarum) Terhadap Penyakit Pokahbung (Fusarium moniliforme) di Rumah Kaca

Supervised by Lahmuddin Lubis and Maryani Cyccu Tobing. Pokkah boeng is one
of the most important disease on sugarcane and this disease can reduce sugar
production in Indonesia. This research was study to determine resistence of
sugarcane plant varieties against Fusarium moniliforme at green house. This
research had been conducted at green house of Universitas Sumatera Utara for
March-September 2016 using completely randomized design (CRD) nonfactorial
with ten varieties (BZ 134, PS 851, PS 881, PS 862, PS 864, VMC 76-16,
Kentung, TLH 1, PS 882, PSDK 923) and three replications. The results showed
that all of the varieties of sugarcane plant was infected by Fusarium moniliforme.
Nine of Sugarcane varieties were very susceptible (BZ 134, PS 851, PS 881, PS
862, PS 864, VMC 76-16, Kentung, PS 882, and PSDK 923) and susceptible at
TLH 1.

Kaca”. Di bawah bimbingan Lahmuddin Lubis dan Maryani Cyccu Tobing.
Pokahbung merupakan salah satu penyakit penting pada pertanaman tebu yang
dapat menurunkan produksi gula di Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk
mengetahui ketahanan beberapa varietas tebu terhadap penyakit pokahbung di
rumah kaca. Penelitian dilaksanakan di rumah kaca fakultas petanian Universitas
Sumatera Utara pada bulan Maret-September 2016 menggunakan rancangan acak
lengkap non faktorial dengan sepuluh varietas (BZ 134, PS 851, PS 881, PS 862,
PS 864, VMC 76-16, Kentung, TLH 1, PS 882, PSDK 923) dan tiga ulangan.
Hasil menunjukkan seluruh varietas dapat terinfeksi oleh Fusarium moniliforme.
Sebanyak sembilan varietas (BZ 134, PS 851, PS 881, PS 862, PS 864, VMC 7616, Kentung, PS 882, dan PSDK 923) memiliki ketahanan sangat rentan dan
dengan ketahanan rentan di varietas TLH 1.
