song was sang by he , instead of “A song was sung by him,” The prize was not
win by her, instead of “The prize was not won by her,” Them did not telled by
tami , instead of “They were not told by Tami.”
d. Transforming Passive into active
So many students made errors in transforming passsive sentence into active sentence in passsive voice of simple past tense with the total error 121 errors or
30. It gains the first top error in this kind of reseach. Based on the interview, the students difficult to change verb 3 become verb 2,difficult to change
subject become object, verb “be” and the verb not in proper context. For
example : The student eated fried rice, Instead of “The student ate fried
rice ,”Her by read were novel, instead of “She read the novel,”was you known
about the form of passive voice of simple past tense? Instead of “Did you
know about the form of passive voice of simple past tense? .”
As shown on the explanation above, the most frequent kind of students error in using the passive voice of simple past tense is the term of transformation that is
changing passsive sentence into active sentence.

CHAPTER V CONCLUSION AND SUGGESTION
A. Conclusion
Based on the explanation and the description in the prepious chapter, the writer concluded that the types of error that were made by the students of the
second grade of SMP Al-Kautsar Parungpanjang-Bogor in transforming voice of simple past tense from the highest percentage to the lowest are error of
misformation, error of omission, and error of ordering. Her research found that the commonest error made by the students is the errors of misformation which take up
368 errors or 90. It is followed by error in omission with percentage 7, and error in ordering with percentage 3. The data also indicated that errors in
transformation passive sentence into active sentence is the most frequent kind of students‟ error in using passsive voice of simple past tense that done by the
second grade of SMP Al-Kautsar parungpanjang-Bogor with 121 errors or 30. Then, it is followed by error in using transformation active sentence into passive
sentence with 100 errors or 24,50 , error in using verb “be” with total 100 or
24,50, and error in using correct verb with 87 or 21. The writter believed some errors occur because the students‟ of SMP Al
Kautsar Parungpanjang-Bogor are still confused in transforming voice of simple past tense, notably when they have to change from active voice into passsive
voice. They didn‟t know to change the verb two into verb three or past participle. Also, they can simply add-ed at the end of verb never care it was regular or
irregular verb, and regular or irregular verb to be. As discussed in previous chapter.
