Jacob Black is a fictional character in this novel. Bella has known Jacob, the son of her fathers close friend, since she was a child. Meyer describes the characters in details such as their conflicts and thought. They describe in convincing way. How their past is and who their family is, friends and all that relate. Everything is described complete and detail. The main character is extremely compelling.
