After doing analyzing, it is proved that the strategies of Katniss struggle of life in “Quarter Quell III Games” in The Hunger Games : Catching Fire, are describe in the novel. Katniss Everdeen is 16 years old. Katniss is having straight black hair, olive skin, and grey eyes. Katniss is a highly skilled archer, hunter, and trapper. She comes from district 12. Katniss must struggle of life for her family in a killing games which this games was called “Hunger Games”. Quarter Quell is a Hunger Games celebration of the venerable held every twenty-five years. The tribute of Quarter Quell III games is the winners who have won the Hunger Games which has been held for seventy-four years. The step of Quarter Quell III games, the first is the tribute were given a sign trackers in their bodies. The second is dispatched using a special plane to the arena game. The third is a game started with a bang gun made by President Snow. The fourth is run, hide, fight and to set the strategy for survival in the games. And the last one survival so that she or he will be winner. The ninth strategy of Katniss in the Quarter Quell III games are: a the feign of sick, b their love relationship, c hide the feeling of love for Gale, d run away from District 12, e marry with Peeta, f lies to public about the wedding and Katniss Pregnant, g to search a group friends in fight arena, h struck of poisonous fog, i the attack against scores of vicious monkeys. From the ninth strategy uses by Katniss it is nothing fail. The strategy most influential in the fight Universitas Sumatera Utara 22 of her life is the second strategy, namely her love relationship with Peeta. their romance became a key strategy for their survival in the games. And also, Katniss must prove to the people of District 12 and President Snow that she and Peeta love each other without any doubt. If they fail, their family will be killed by Presiden Snow. In the end, Katniss and Peeta has won the Quarter Quell III games. They are survival in this games.
