Analisis Efisiensi Produksi Pada Usaha Keripik Ubi Sebagai Makanan Khas Langsa Di Kota Langsa, Provinsi Aceh
ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang
mempengaruhi produksi usaha keripik ubi dan mengetahui efisiensi penggunaan
faktor produksi dalam usaha keripik ubi di Kecamatan Langsa Baro.
Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis data primer dan data sekunder dengan
metode pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, kuesioner dan studi kepustakaan
yang ditujukan kepada 30 responden yang memiliki usaha keripik ubi. Teknik
analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis Fungsi Produksi
Cobb Douglas, dan Efisiensi Ekonomi.
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi
produksi keripik ubi di Kecamatan Langsa Baro adalah jumlah bahan baku (input)
dan modal kerja (capital). Berdasarkan analisis fungsi produksi Cobb Douglas,
faktor produksi yang berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap produksi keripik
ubi pada taraf signifikan 5 persen adalah modal kerja. Namun, jumlah bahan baku
berpengaruh positif tetapi tidak signifikan terhadap produksi keripik ubi.
Sedangkan, tenaga kerja berpengaruh negatif dan tidak signifikan terhadap
produksi keripik ubi.Faktor-faktor produksi yang digunakan dalam usaha keripik
ubi di Kecamatan Langsa Baro tidak efisien, dikarenakan bahwa penjumlahan dari
masing-masing koefisien elastisitas faktor produksi bersifat Decreasing Return to
Scale.

ABSTRACT
This study aims to determine the factors that affect the business
production of cassava chips and determine the efficiency of using production
factors in cassava chips business in Langsa Baro district.
This study used primary data and secondary data by the collecting
method of data such as interviews , questionnaires and literature study that aimed
to 30 respondents who have a cassava chipsbusiness. The analysis technique that
used in this research was the analysis of Cobb Douglas Production Function and
Economic Efficiency.
The results showed that the factors which affected the production of
cassava chips in Langsa Baro district was the amount of raw material ( input ) and
capital working. Based on the analysis of the Cobb Douglas production function ,
the factors of production were positive and significant effect on the production of
cassava chips on a significant level of 5 percent was capital working. However ,
the amount of raw materials had positive effect but no significant on the
production of cassava chips. Whereas, labor had negative effect and no significant
on the production of cassava chips. The factors of production were used in
cassava chips business in Langsa Baro district had not efficient, because the sum
of each elasticity coefficient of production factors wereDecreasing Return to
Scale.
