ABSTRACT
The purpose of this study was to determine differences self-regulated
learning among regular students and acceleration students on student of class VII
in SMPN1 Salatiga. In this study, sample consisted of 14 respondents regular
students and 14 respondents acceleration students. Data collection techniques in
this study conducted by distributing questionnaires. Data analysis techniques in
this study using the validity and reliability test, assumptions test, descriptive
analysis and Chi Square test. Based on the research results, obtained value of χ2
count amounting 28,000 with df 12 or χ2 table value amounting 21.026 (χ2 count
> χ2 table) and significance level at 0.006 χ2 tabel) dan
nilai sig sebesar 0,006 < α (0,05), artinya bahwa ada perbedaan self regulated
learning antara siswa akselerasi dengan siswa reguler di SMPN 1 Salatiga. Dalam
penelitian ini nilai rata-rata self regulated learning kelas akselerasi lebih tinggi
daripada nilai rata-rata self regulated learning yang diperoleh kelas regular.
Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah diharapkan guru SMPN 1 Salatiga agar dapat
mempertahankan self regulated learning siswa melalui pengajaran yang dapat
memotivasi siswa.
