Abstrak
Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui perbedaan Kompentensi Interpersonal siswa kelas
akselerasi dan siswa kelas reguler di SMP NEGERI 9 AMBON. Populasi dalam penelitian ini
adalah 684 siswa dengan sampel sebanyak 108 siswa yang terdiri dari kelas VII akselerasi 28
siswa, kelas VIII akselerasi 26 siswa. Dan kelas VII reguler 30 siswa, kelas VIII reguler 24
siswa. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode skala, interpersonal yaitu
compentence questionnaire ( ICQ ) milik Buhrmester dkk (1988). Teknik analisa data yang
digunakan adalah teknik uji-t sehingah diperoleh hasil uji beda sebesar 5,572 dengan
singnifikansi = 0,000 ( p < 0,05 ) yang berarti bahwa ada perbedaan antara kompentensi
interpersonal pada siswa kelas akselerasi dan siswa kelas reguler di SMP NEGERI 9 AMBON.

Abstract
This research is conducted to find out the differences in interpersonal competency of
acceleration class students and regular class students at Public Middle School 9 Ambon. The
population in this research is 684 students with a sample size of 108 students that consists of 28
students from the 7th grade acceleration class, 26 students from the 8th grade acceleration class,
30 students from the 7th grade regular class, and 24 students from the 8 th grade regular class.
The data gathered in this research uses a scale method, which is an interpersonal competence
questionnaire (ICQ) devised by Buhrmester et al. (1988). A t-test data analysis technique is used,
so that a differential test result is obtained of 5.572 with a significance of 0.000 (p< 0.05), which
means that there are differences between interpersonal competency for acceleration class
students and regular class students at Public Middle School 9 Ambon.
