Respons Pertumbuhan dan Produksi Tanaman Kedelai Varietas Detam 1
Terhadap Pemberian Vermikompos dan Pupuk P, di bawah bimbingan
Dr. Nini Rahmawati, SP. MSi. dan Dr. Ir. Lollie Agustina P. Putri, MSi.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian
vermikompos dan pupuk P terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman kedelai. Penelitian ini
dilaksanakan di lahan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Sumatera Utara-Medan
(± 25 m dpl) pada Maret – Juni 2015 menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok
faktorial dengan 2 faktor. Faktor pertama adalah pemberian vermikompos dengan
4 taraf yaitu V0 (kontrol), V1 (0,25 kg/polibag), V2 (0,5 kg/polibag), dan
V3 (0,75 kg/polibag). Faktor kedua adalah pemberian pupuk P dengan 4 taraf
yaitu P0(kontrol), P1(0,625 g/polibag), P2 (1,25 g/polibag) dan P3 (1,825
g/polibag). Parameter yang diamati antara lain tinggi tanaman (cm), diameter
batang (mm), umur berbunga (hari), bobot basah akar (g), bobot kering akar (g),
bobot basah tajuk (g), bobot kering tajuk (g), volume akar (ml), jumlah cabang
produktif, jumlah polong per tanaman, jumlah polong berisi, bobot 100 biji kering
(g) dan umur panen (hari).
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian vermikompos dan pupuk
P berpengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman umur 3 – 5 MST, diameter batang
umur 3 – 5 MST, umur berbunga, bobot basah akar, bobot kering akar, bobot
basah tajuk, bobot kering tajuk, volume akar, jumlah cabang produktif, jumlah

polong per tanaman dan jumlah polong berisi. Interaksi antara vermikompos dan
pupuk P berpengaruh nyata terhadap umur berbunga tanaman kedelai.

ABSTRACT
The Growth and Yield Response of Soybean Var. Detam 1 with The
Aplication of Vermicompost and Phosphate Fertilizer, supervised by
Dr. Nini Rahmawati, SP. MSi. dan Dr. Ir. Lollie Agustina P. Putri, MSi.
The objectives of the experiment were to determine the effect of
vermicompost and phospate fertilizer aplication on the growth of soybean. This
research was carried out at the field of Agriculture Faculty University of
Sumatera Utara on March – June 2015 and was arranged in a randomized block
design with two factors. The first factor was the application of vermicompost in
4 level: V0 (control), V1 (0,25 kg/polybag), V2 (0,5 kg/polybag), and
V3 (0,75 kg/polybag). The second factor was the application of phosphate
fertilizer in 4 level: P0 (control), P1 (0,625 g/polybag), P2 (1,25 g/polybag) and
P3 (1,825 g/polybag). Parameters observed were height of plant, diameter of

stem, flowering age, fresh weight of root, dry weight of root, fresh weight of
crown, dry weight of crown, volume of root, number of productive branches,
number of pods per plant, number of content pods, dry weight of 100 seeds, and
harvesting age.
The result of research showed that application of vermicompost and
phospate fertilizer significantly affected on height of plant 3 - 5 week after
planting, diameter of stem age 3 – 5 week after planting, flowering age, fresh
weight of root, dry weight of root, fresh weight of crown, dry weight of crown,
root volume, number of productive branches, number of pods per plant, and
number of content pods. The interaction of aplication of vermicompost and
phospate fertilizer were significant to flowering age of plant.
