Kurikulum 2004 berbasis kompetensi, khususnya pada mata pelajaran kimia
masih ditemukan beberapa kendala, diantaranya proses belajar mengajar masih
menggunakan metode konvensional (ceramah) dan kurangnya media pembelajaran
kimia yang mampu mendukung siswa untuk menjadikannya subjek dalam
pembelajaran. Akibatnya kondisi belajar yang kurang menarik dan pada akhirnya
siswa menjadi kurang berminat akan pelajaran kimia itu sendiri. Di sini penulis ingin
memberikan suatu solusi, yakni dengan pembuatan CD pembelajaran interaktif
kimia dengan program flash, sehingga siswa dapat lebih aktif dalam proses belajar
mengajar. Kemudian dilakukan penelitian dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui efektifitas
dari CD pembelajaran interaktif kimia tersebut.
Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPA semester I di sekolah
menengah atas negeri 3 Semarang, tahun ajaran 2005/2006, kelas XI IPA 9 sebagai
kelompok eksperimen. Variabel dalam penelitian ini, diantaranya adalah variabel
bebas yaitu CD pembelajaran interaktif kimia dengan program flash, pokok materi
laju dan orde reaksi dan variabel terikat yaitu prestasi belajar siswa kelas XI IPA
semester I di sekolah menengah atas negeri 3 Semarang tahun ajaran 2005/2006.
Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode dokumentasi dan tes.
Penelitian dilakukan dengan cara melaksanakan kegiatan belajar mengajar,
bahan ajar kimia menggunakan CD pembelajaran interaktif kimia program flash,
pokok materi laju dan orde reaksi di laboratorium komputer, kemudian dilakukan tes
teoritik pokok materi laju dan orde reaksi. Dengan data nilai tes teoritik tersebut dapat
diketahui efektifitas CD pembelajaran interaktif kimia terhadap prestasi belajar siswa.
Uji keefektifan pada penelitian didapatkan bahwa prosentase ketuntasan
belajar kelas sebesar 86,36 %, prosentase yang lebih tinggi dari prosentase standar
minimal ketuntasan belajar kelas yang sebesar 85 %. Ini menunjukkan bahwa CD
pembelajaran interaktif kimia tersebut efektif. Kesimpulan dari hasil penelitian ini
adalah CD pembelajaran interaktif kimia, pokok materi laju dan orde reaksi
menggunakan program flash merupakan CD pembelajaran yang efektif dipergunakan
dalam proses belajar mengajar kelas XI IPA semester I di sekolah menengah atas
negeri 3 Semarang, tahun ajaran 2005/2006. Beberapa kelebihan dari CD
pembelajaran kimia dengan komputer ini diantaranya adalah kemasan materi yang
cukup menarik, informasi berupa data dan grafik yang cukup mendukung, guru dalam
menyampaikan materi lebih mudah dan dapat menumbuhkan kemandirian dalam diri
siswa.

support the students to make them to be the subject in learning. As a result, the
learning condition which is not interesting and finally the students become less
interested in learning chemistry itself. Here the writer wishes to give solution, namely
by making the learning method by using CD interactive learning of chemistry, flash
programme, so that the students can be more active in learning and teaching
processes. Then the research is done to know the effectiveness of CD interactive
learning of chemistry.
The population in this research is the first semester students of XI IPA class in
state senior high school 3 of Semarang in the school years 2005/2006, XI IPA 9 class
as an experiment of group. Variables in this research, among others are free of
variable is CD interactive learning of chemistry by using programme of flash, the
topic of fast and order reaction and the bound of variable is the students learning
achievement of XI IPA class, the first semester in state senior high school 3 of
Semarang in the school years of 2005/2006. The research methods which used are
documentation method and test method.
The research is done by using the learning and teaching activity, chemistry
teaching materials use CD interactive learning of chemistry, programme of flash, the
topic of fast and order reaction in the computer laboratory, then the teoritical test is
done, the topic of fast and order reaction for experimental group. By using the
teoritical test data, it can be know effectiveness of CD interactive learning of
chemistry to the students learning achievement.
The effectiveness test in the research is achieved that the percentage of class learning
completeness equal to 86,36 %, that percentage is higher than the minimum standart
of class learning completeness percentage which equals to 85 %. This indicates that
the CD interactive learning of chemistry is effective. The conclusion from the result
of this research is CD interactive learning of chemistry, the topic of fast and order
reaction using programme of flash is CD learning which is effective to be used in
learning and teaching processes of XI IPA class, first semester in state senior high
school 3 of Semarang in the school years 2005/2006. Some excesses of this CD
interactive learning of chemistry with computer among others are the form of
materials is interesting, supported by informations about data and graph, it is easier
for the teacher in explaining the materials and it can increase the students
independence.
