ideas and solve problems especially with either large groups or with a large number
of issues. This technique is hoped can be skill well in reading comprehension of

The writer makes objective of the research is: There is significant difference
between the reading comprehension of the Tenth Grade students of MA NU
Mu’allimat Kudus in the academic year 2011/2012 before and after being taught by
using Carousel Brainstorming.
This research design used in this study is experimental research. In doing the
research, the writer uses one group pretest-posttest design. The population in the
research is whole students of the tenth grade students of MA Mu’allimat Kudus in the
academic year 2011/2012. The sample cover one class is taken by cluster random

ix

In other word, t-observation is bigger than t-table. Finally, the null hypothesis is
rejected and the alternative hypothesis is accepted.
Related to the result of the study, for the English teacher of MA NU

sebuah teknik yaitu Carousel Brainstorming.
post test satu kelompok.
nilai standar deviasi sebesar 6.16 (ii) penguasaan bahasa Inggris siswa kelas X.2 MA
penguasaan bahasa Inggris siswa kelas X MA NU Mu’allimat Kudus tahun akademik
xi

2011/2012
sebelum
dan
sesudah
diajar
dengan
menggunakan
Carousel Brainstorming.
