ANALISA KADAR SULFIDA PADA AIR SUNGAI DAERAH PT.
PERTAMINA GEOTHERMAL ENERGY SIBAYAK
ABSTRAK
Telah dilakukan analisa kadar Sufida sebagai H2S pada air sungai di daerah lapangan panas
bumi PT.Pertamina Geothermal Energy Area Sibayak . Sampling air sungai diambil dengan
menggunakan botol kaca gelap dan disimpan dalam wadah tertutup dan terbebas dari
gelembung udara. Analisa kadar Sufida sebagai S (H2S) pada air sungai dilakukan dengan
metode Titrasi Iodometri. Hasil penelitian menunjukkkan bahwa
kadar S sebagai H2S
dengan kosentrasi berkisar 0,03 – 0,01 mg/ L yang masih memenuhi standar baku mutu
untuk air minum berdasarkan standar baku mutu Permenkes 416 Tahun 1990 tentang SyaratSyarat dan Pengawasan Kualitas Air.
Kata kunci : Air sungai panas bumi , kadar sulfida, iodometri.

Has conducted analysis Sufida as H2S levels in the river water in the area of
geothermal field Geothermal Energy Area PT.Pertamina Sibayak. A sampling of river
water taken using the dark glass bottles and stored in a sealed container and free from
air bubbles. Analysis Sufida levels as S (H2S) in river water carried by iodometry
titration method. Research results indicating that the levels of S as H2S with
concentrations ranging from 0.03 to 0.01 mg / L which still meets the quality
standards for drinking water quality standards based Permenkes 416 of 1990 on
