Reminder
Navigation:
‐ Set up your station according to the route you were assigned to
‐ Call C1 or C2 in case of significant delay or uncertain positioning
‐ Fill one sampling sheet per station and keep them dry!!
Safety regulations:
‐ Never let someone alone in the water (at least 2)
‐ Never let your boat nor radio unattended
(always maintain a potential radio contact with C1 or C2)
‐ In case of an emergency, contact immediately C1 or C2 by radio
If not responding, ask other crews to try or use your cell phone.
‐ Never send an emergency call for no reason
To contact someone by radio:
‐ Let running conversions to end
‐ Push and hold the “talk” button at least a second before talking
‐ Mention your identification (ex: SK1), followed by who you want to
contact (ex: to C1)
‐ Speak clearly and slowly
‐ Release the “talk” button to allow your interlocutor to answer
