INTISARI

Jaringan Komputer merupakan mata kuliah dasar bagi mahasiswa elektronika dan

komputer. Di dalamnya terdapat materi-materi yang menjelaskan bagaimana hubungan
koneksi antar komputer. Materi di dalam mata kuliah ini tidak mudah dipahami dan
membutuhkan visualisasi gambar dan animasi untuk membantu pemahamannya. Sudah
banyak sumber di berbagai jejaring (web) yang menawarkan metode pembelajaran dengan
animasi tetapi kebanyakan menggunakan bahasa asing, sehingga disamping pemahaman
materi mahasiswa membutuhkan pemahaman bahasa asing tersebut. Oleh karena itu, pada
skripsi ini dibuat sebuah jejaring (web) dengan animasi menggunakan bahasa Indonesia
sebagai salah satu sumber bagi mahasiswa di Indonesia untuk mata kuliah Jaringan
Komputer.
Jejaring (web) ini terdiri dari 12 bab materi. Acuan materi yang digunakan
menggunakan buku “Data Communications and Networking” karya Behrouz Forouzan.
Jejaring ini masih bersifat offline. Jejaring (web) ini telah melalui pengujian terhadap 40
mahasiswa. 20 mahasiswa yang sudah mengambil mata kuliah Jaringan Komputer dan 20
mahasiswa belum mengambil mata kuliah Jaringan Komputer. Pengujian dilakukan
melalui pengisian kuesioner yang dilanjutkan dengan uji validalitas, uji hipotesis, uji T
dan uji Mann-Whitney.
Hasil dari uji validalitas adalah semua pernyataan (100%) yang terdapat dalam
kuesioner dinyatakan valid. Hasil dari uji hipotesis adalah sebanyak 16 dari 20 (80%)
responden dari kelompok yang sudah mengambil menyatakan puas. Sedangkan 19 dari 20
(90%) responden dari kelompok yang belum ambil menyatakan puas. Hasil dari uji T

melalui tabel Levene’s Test. menunjukan bahwa responden berasal dari latar belakang
sama yaitu mahasiswa. Hasil dari uji Mann-Whitney menyatakan hanya 30% presentase
keterbantuan mahasiswa akan aplikasi jejaring animasi ini..

ABSTRACT

Computer network is a basic course for students of electronics and computers . In
this course there are materials that explain how the relationship between computer
connection. The material in this course is not easily understood and require visualization of
images and animation to help the understanding. There have been many sources at various
web that offers a method of learning with animations but most use a foreign language, so
that in addition to understand the material, students need to understand the foreign
language. Therefore, in this thesis made a web with animation using Indonesian as a
resource for students in Indonesia for Computer Network courses .
This web is composed of 12 chapters material. Reference materials used to use the
book " Data Communications and Networking " by Behrouz Forouzan. This network is
still offline. This web has been through the testing of 40 students. 20 students who are
taking courses in Computer Networks and 20 students do not take courses in Computer

Networks. Tests conducted by filling out the questionnaire, followed by validity test,
hypothesis testing , T test and Mann - Whitney test .
Validity of the test results are all statements ( 100 % ) contained in the
questionnaire declared valid. Results of hypothesis testing are as many as 16 of the 20 ( 80
% ) of respondents who had taken the group said they were satisfied . Whereas 19 of 20 (
90 % ) of respondents who have taken the group said they were satisfied . Results of the
test T through Levene 's Test table. shows that the respondents came from the same
background as students. Results of Mann - Whitney test reveals only 30 % the percentage
of students will helped by this animation networking applications.
