ABSTRAK
Konsep pembangunan sering dikaitkan dengan proses industrialisasi,
proses industrialisasi dan pembangunan industri ini merupakan satu jalur kegiatan
untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan rakyat dalam arti tingkat hidup yang lebih
maju maupun taraf hidup yang lebih bermutu. PT. AR (Agincourt Resources)
adalah Konsorsium yang dipimpin oleh EMR Capital, sebuah perusahaan yang
bergerak dibidang pendanaan modal pertambangan. Aktivitas PT. AR yaitu
eksplorasi, produksi/eksploitasi, dan pelaksanaan CSR. Penelitian ini tergolong
penelitian eksplanatif yang bertujuan untuk membuktikan hipotesis Dampak
Kehadiran PT. AR (Agincourt Resources) Dalam Kehidupan Sosial Ekonomi
Masyarakat Desa Sumuran Kecamatan Batangtoru Kabupaten Tapanuli Selatan.
Jumlah Populasi dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 540 kepala keluarga. Untuk
mewakili populasi yang ada, peneliti mengambil sampel 10% dari populasi yang
ada yaitu 54 Kepala Keluarga. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Desa Sumuran
Kecamatan Batangtoru Kabupaten Tapanuli Selatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan
pendekatan kuantitaif dengan rumus uji t.Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa
Dampak Kehadiran PT. AR (Agincourt Resources) Dalam Sosial Ekonomi
Masyarakat Desa Sumuran Kecamatan Batangtoru Kabupaten Tapanuli Selatan
terdapat perbedaan tingkat Pendapatan, Pendidikan, Kesehatan, Perumahan antara
sebelum dan sesudah adanya PT.AR (Agincourt Resources), hal ini terlihat dari
masyarakat yang diterima sebagai pegawai di perusahaan tersebut. Perusahaan
juga membantu melengkapi fasilitas puskesmas agar dapat melayani masyarakat
di Kecamatan Batangtoru khususnya masyarakat Desa Sumuran.

IN SOCIAL ECONOMIC LIFE SOCIETY VILLAGES
OF SUMURAN SUBSTANCES OF BATANGTORU

ABSTRACT
The concept of development is often associated with the process of
industrialization, industrialization process and industrial development is a channel
of activity to improve peoples welfare in the sense of a more advanced level of
living and a better quality of life. PT. AR (Agincourt Resources) is a consortium
led by EMR capital, a company engaged in the funding of mining capital. PT.AR
activity is exploration, production/exploitation, and implementation of CSR. This
research belongs to explanative research which aims to prove hypothesis of
impact of PT. AR (Agincourt Resources) in the socio-economic life of Sumuran
village, Batangtoru sub-district, Tapanuli Selatan District. Number of population
in this research as many as 540 head of family. To respresent the existing
population, researchers sampled 10% of the existing population of 54 the family.
This research was conducted in Sumuran uses quantitative approach with t test
formula. The result showed that impact of PT. AR (Agincourt Resources) in the
socio-economic community of sumuran village, batangtoru sub-district, tapanuli
selatan regency, there are different level of revenue, education, health, housing
between before and after PT.AR (Agincourt Resources), this is seen from the
community received as employees in the company. The company also helps to
equip the hospital facilities in order to serve the community in Batangtoru subdistrict, espesially Sumuran Village.
