The applicant will receive only one certificate and label for the article(s). The final deci- sion on this (particularly also at ambiguous cases) has the manda- ted and certifying institute.

Bilgiler If organic cotton is used and consequently is declared additional a valid certificate has to be submitted which proves the bio/organic origin and the not-usage of genetically modified organisms (GMO). At the cotton fibres/materials additionally a special laboratory test is performed mandatory which has to confirm too that no genetic modifications are detectable. This procedure applies for both mate- rials made of 100 % organic cotton and also for mixtures of organic cotton with other materials (except mixtures of organic cotton with conventional and GV cotton; see above).
