Pengaruh Mekanisme Tata Kelola Perusahaan dan Kepemilikan Manajerial Terhadap Agency Cost Pada Perusahaan Property yang Terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia Tahun 2012-2014
ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh mekanisme tata kelola
perusahaan dan kepemilikan manajerial terhadap agency cost. Agency Cost diukur
dengan Asset Turn Over (ATO).
Penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder, yaitu perusahaan property yang
tercatat di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 39 perusahaan
property dengan periode tahun 2012 hingga tahun 2014 melalui metode purposive
sampling. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah regresi berganda (Multiple
Regression Analysis) dengan tingkat signifikansi 5% dengan bantuan program
computer SPSS Versi 20.
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan ukuran dewan komisaris dan komisaris
independen berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap agency cost. Sedangkan
dewan direksi, komite audit dan kepemilikan manajerial tidak berpengaruh
signifikan terhadap agency cost.

ABSTRACT
The purpose of this research is to analyze the influence of corporate
governance and managerial ownership to the agency cost. Agency cost is
measured by asset turn over (ATO).
This study uses secondary data were taken from the property companies
which are listed in Bursa Efek Indonesia. There are 39 property companies
selected as study samples on the period of 2012 until 2014 based on purposive
sampling method. The analytical method for this study uses Multiple Regression
Analysis in the significance level of 5% with the aid of SPSS version 20 computer
program.
The result show that the size of the board of commissioners and the board
of independent commissioners have significant influence to the agency cost.
Meanwhile, the size of the board of directions, size of the audit committee and
managerial ownership did not have significant influence to the agency cost
