Research on the Role of Counselors In Recovery Drug Abusers in Rehabilitation
of Al-Kamal and articles Centre aims to describe how the shape of the counselor role to
restore the victims of drug abuse patients assisted in Al-Kamal and articles Centre.
This form of qualitative descriptive study conducted in Al-Kamal and articles
Centre in the village of Suka Makmur subdistrict articles for Deli Serdang, North
Sumatra. The subject of this study is that they are undergoing a process of social
rehabilitation of victims of drug abuse and as many as five people became key
informants and a counselor at the Social Rehabilitation Centre al-Kamal articles for

North Sumatra as key informants. Data collection techniques used in this study is a
descriptive analysis techniques, ie by collecting, managing, presenting and describing
research results obtained from the research field and will be concluded in the form of
Life Story and analyzed later.
The results showed that the role of counselor Counselors Role In Drug Abusers
Recovery in Al-Kamal Rehabilitation and articles Centre is to facilitate behavior change,
improve the skills of dealing with problems, improve decision-making capabilities,
improve relationships.
