Hubungan Keanekaragaman Ikan dan Faktor Fisik-Kimia Perairan Sungai Mencirim, Binjai Provinsi Sumatera Utara

ABSTRACT

The relationship of fish variety and chemical physical factor Mencirim river, Binjai of
North Sumatera has been observed from June to August 2015. Sample stasion is settle
using “Purposive Random Sampling”. There are ten genera of fishes, classifying into
three ordo (Cypriniformes, Perciformes, Siluriformes) and five family (Cyprinidae,
Balitoridae, Mastacembellidae, Bagridae, Sisoridae) are recorded from the study area.
The highest diversity is found second location with the number 16,4 ind/m2 and the
lowest one is found at the first location with the number 8,15 ind/m2. For the diversity
index the highest is recorded from second location (1,64), while the lowest is found in the
the first location (0,48). Nitrat, phosfat and light intensity are evidently correlated to the
diversity of fishes.

ABSTRAK

Hubungan factor fisik- kimia perairan dengan keanekaragaman ikan di Sungai
mencirim, Binjai Provinsi Sumatera Utara telah diteliti pada bulan Juni 2015.
Pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode “Purposive Sampling”. Ada sepuluh
spesies ikan yang ditemukan di lokasi penelitian yang diklasifikasikan ke dalam 3
ordo (Cypriniformes, Perciformes, Siluriformes) dan 5 famili (Cyprinidae,
Balitoridae, Mastacembellidae, Bagridae, Sisoridae). Kepadatan tertinggi
ditemukan pada stasiun 2 dengan nilai 0,1 ind/m2 dan terendah pada stasiun 3
dengan nilai 0,009 ind/m2. Indeks keanekaragaman terbesar ditemukan pada
stasiun 2 dengan nilai 1,537; sementara terendah ditemukan pada stasiun 3 dengan
nilai 0,561. pH berkorelasi sangat kuat terhadap keanekaragaman ikan.
