PENGARUH LAMA PENYIMPANAN TELUR TETAS PADA DUA
GALUR AYAM SENTUL TERHADAP HASIL PENETASAN

ABSTRAK
Penelitian tentang Pengaruh Lama Penyimpanan Telur Tetas Pada Dua
Galur Ayam Sentul Terhadap Hasil Penetasan telah dilaksanakan di Kelompok
Ternak Barokah Ayam Sentul Ciamis pada tanggal 3 – 30 Mei 2013. Penelitian
ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana pengaruh lama penyimpanan
terhadap performa hasil tetas dan pada lama penyimpanan berapa yang masih
menghasilkan performa tetas yang baik. Percobaan menggunakan metode
eksperimental. Terdapat enam jenis perlakuan (P1= lama penyimpanan 1 hari
galur Abu; P2= lama penyimpanan 1 hari galur Putih; P3 = lama penyimpanan
4 hari galur Abu; P4 = lama penyimpanan 4 hari galur Putih; P5 = lama
penyimpanan 7 hari galur Abu; dan P6 = lama penyimpanan 7 hari galur Putih)
dengan empat kali ulangan. Data yang diperoleh selanjutnya dianalisis ragam.
Hasil Analisis Ragam menunjukkan bahwa lama penyimpanan satu sampai
dengan tujuh hari pada dua galur ayam Sentul tidak berbeda nyata dan masih
menghasilkan performa hasil tetas yang baik.

ABSTRACT
This research entitled The Impact of Egg Hatching’s Storage Time on
Two Strains of Sentul Chicken towards Hatching Results. This research has
been done in Barokah Ayam Sentul Ciamis’ livestock group from May 3 to
May 30 2013. This reseach aims to find out how far the impact of hatching’s
storage on the result’s quality towards storage time. The experiments used
experimental methods. There was six kinds of treatments (P1 = one-day Gray
strain’s storage time; P2 = one-day White strain’s storage time; P3 = four-day
Gray strain’s storage time; P4 = four-day White strain’s storage time; P5 =
seven-day Gray strain’s storage time; P6 = seven-day White strain’s storage
time) with four repetitions. The data analysed by using the Analysis of
Variance. The results of the Analysis of Variance showed that the storage time
of one to seven days on two strains of Sentul chicken was not real different and
still produced well hatching results.
