ABSTRACT
The utilization of data storage media as a learning process and data management
activities within the campus administration is still commonly conventional. The use of
flash disks, compact disks, and hard disks as storage media still has risks and limitations in
its use. Physical damage, loss of data permanently and a relatively long access and
ineffective time could results in un-optimal management and lowers the quality of the
data storage. The development of the Cloud Computing concept has provided an
alternative storage facility and provides the data storage for the user in order to improve
the quality of data storage. The study was conducted to examine the use of Cloud services
in order to be implemented. The methods used are the observations approach,
interviews, questionnaires, literature, design, testing, implementation, and comparison
with other Cloud services. The results showed that the use of the Dropbox application can
be applied in educational institutions that have a simple infrastructure by increasing the
bandwidth capacity and assuring an Internet connection.
