ABSTRACT
This study aimed to determine the relationship between dual role conflict and job satisfaction
of the production employees of PT. BATI Sragen. The sampling technique used in this
research is purposive sampling with the characteristics already married and had children,
amounting to 300 employees. Measuring instruments used in the study to measure the dual
role conflict refers to Greenhaus and Beutell (1985) in Carlson, Kacmar, & Williams (2000)
by combining the direction and shape of the dual role conflict that resulted in six dimensions,
namely: time-based WIF, time-based FIW, strain-based WIF, strain-based FIW behaviorbased WIF, and behavior-based FIW. Furthermore, measuring instruments used for job
satisfaction refers to Deshpande (1985), 20 items to measure the five aspects of job
satisfaction are satisfaction with salary, promotion, co-workers, supervisors, and satisfaction
with the work itself. The correlation between the dual role conflict and job satisfaction using
Pearson's product moment calculation. The results showed that there was no significant
correlation between the dual role conflict and job satisfaction of the production employees
with a correlation coefficient of -0.018 and significance of 0754 (p
