142 The points of improvement feedbacks mentioned above will be noticed and
considered together with the detailed experts’ evaluation feedbacks for every test items formulation. Yet, before the analysis on every single items of the testing
model is done, there are some aspects will firstly be considered as the underlying aspects of revision, namely:
a. The Purpose of the Test Making
English has a critical role in the business and education life in the International scale as a tool of communication between countries around the
world. Therefore, every people, including Indonesian people, are assumed to be skillful to communicate in English if they want to be successful in their study and
career. The assumption results in another assumption that to be successful in English mastery, one should start his English learning appropriately. Hence, an
appropriate English learning and evaluation in the early education as the basic foundation of the ongoing English learning process is critical. The English role
and the researcher’s belief that appropriate English learning should be started from the early education, in this case elementary school, become the rational of
defining the purpose underlying the development of the testing model. The purpose is not creating an aptitude test or to measure students’ academic
achievement, but rather to provide an instrument to measure students’ achievement on the English learning. The result of the measurement hopefully can
give a picture about the degree students have achieved within the required language competence that they should have.

b. Test Design
It has been mentioned earlier that evaluation feedbacks given from both student and expert respondents tell that the design and format of the test tasks are
attractive. The level of difficulty is also not really mattered as according to the expert respondents the level of proficiency is quite suitable for the test taker’s
educational background. Therefore, in the test item revision, the task format will not be much revised.
c. Test Instructions
Based on the evaluation feedbacks, there is no different opinion about the test instruction between the two groups of respondents. While according to the
students the instructions are quite easy to understand, the experts also consider the instructions quite okay and they do not sugest them to be translated into bahasa
Indonesia. Therefore, there is no much revision done in this case. The researcher just tries to provide clearer examples of how to do the tasks for each test section to
help students understand the instructions easier.
d. Test Duration
