1.6 Outline of the Report

To present the results of the investigation of the study, the report is broken down as follows: Chapter I provides an introduction carrying the basic core of the consideration for the entire study presented in the rest of the final project. It comprises the background of the study, reasons for choosing the topic, research problems, purposes of the study, the significance of the study, and eventually the outline of the report. Chapter II is devoted to the review of related literature. It gives further explanations regarding the theories used to serve as the basis of analyzing the data in this study. It is divided into three main sections. The first section presents the previous studies in subjects related to this topic. This is then followed by review of the theoretical studies and is finally closed by theoretical framework. Chapter III sets out the methods of investigation. It begins with a brief elaboration on the research design. Next, there are also reviews on data sources of the study and the technique of data collection. The procedure of the evaluation is suggested in the end of this chapter. Chapter IV discusses the result of the evaluation. It suggests a complete description about the kinds of persuasive strategies made by the debaters and the results of the assessment to know whether the arguments are persuasive or not. There is also the interpretation of the findings to answer the problem of the study, and some summaries of the findings in the forms of detailed explanation. Chapter V offers the conclusions preserving the primary points from the result of the analysis while providing the substantial response to the problem brought up in the study. This session also includes some suggestions for the target readers, especially those who wish to propose some arguments and how to make them good arguments, and about several recommended actions that are certainly in line with the result of the study 7
