Gyp is William Morel’s finances. She’s flighty, foolish, but beautiful young woman whose family has fallen upon hard times. Even though she is forced to work as secretary, Gyp still treats people like the Morels as inferiors. ‘William was succeeding with his ‘Gypsy’ as he called her.
