The designed materials consist of eight units. Each unit is divided into five main parts, namely: Let’s Warm up, Let’s Experience, Let’s Share, Let’s Practice, and Let’s Speak. The time allocation for each meeting is 2 x 45 minutes 90 minutes.

1. Let’s Warm Up

Let’s Warm up is an activity to motivate the students’ interest in a topic and to direct the students to the main topic that is going to be learnt. This part also activates the students’ knowledge about a topic in each unit

2. Let’s Experience

Let’s Experience is a part of the materials that contains activities that can develop the students’ skills in speaking. This part consists of activities that motivate the students to experience and use the language by themselves. There are some activities used in this part, such as, play game, watch a video, listen to a recording, and interview friends. In this stage, the teacher monitors and encourages the students to do participate in the activities.

3. Let’s Share

Let’s Share is a part of the materials that contains reflection task of the two previous activities. In this part the students look back on their participation in the previous activities. The function of this part is to know the students’ perception on the lesson and also their difficulties and strengths. What the students do in this activity is sharing with their friends using reflection questions through group discussion or class discussion. 106

4. Let’s Practice

Let’s Practice is a part of the materials that contains the task that must be completed by the students. The function of this task is to construct the theory of the topic that they learn. The task used in this part is question and answer.

5. Let’s Speak

Let’s Practice is a part of the materials that speaking task for the students in order to apply their knowledge and understanding that they have got from the previous four parts. Performing a role play, performing a dialogue or conversation, telling a story, and interviewing friends are the activities in this part. The units and the topics in the designed materials are as follows.
