94.3 Posture of Indonesia Economic Corridor
For the preparaion and accelerated development of the Sunda Straits Bridge, the following should be considered:
1. Acceleraion of Presidenial Regulaion

, which will regulate the Sunda Straits bridge construcion to secure public and naional interests for Indonesia. Increase possibility to use Public Private Partnership schemes
involving the relevant provincial government, SOE, Local SOE, and strategic partners; 2. Prepare the procedures for the agency or team conducing the Feasibility Study FS, including the use of a
comprehensive system to set prices, limits for negoiated concessions, including the amount and validity period of the concession;
3. Develop infrastructure associated to operaionalizaion of Sunda Straits bridge such as: Panimbang - Serang Toll Roads, South Banten Airport, Bojonegara Container Port, and Cilegon - Bojonegara Toll Road 14 km;
4. Anicipate the efect on paterns of spaial uilizaion and spaial structure aciviies in Java and Sumatra, paricularly in areas directly afected by the Sunda Straits Bridge. The efect of spaial uilizaion and the spaial
structure patern must consider protected areas in RTRWN Government Regulaion No. 26 Year 2008

Other Economic aciviies
In addiion to the main economic aciviies in Sumatra Economic Corridor, there are also several aciviies that with economic potenial such as food agriculture, tourism, oil and gas, imber, and isheries. As for securing
the availability of food producion, the acivity will focus on food storage development in Aceh.
Investment
To develop Sumatra Economic Corridor, new investments of the main economic aciviies have been ideniied comprising of Coal, Iron Ore Steel, Rubber, Palm Oil, Shipping, Naional Strategic Area KSN Sunda Straits Bridge, and
the supporing infrastructure, with a total investment amount of IDR 714 Trillion.

The funcion key region associated with Sunda Straits is the mainstay of the Sea Area and surrounding Krakatoa which serves as: isheries, mining
and tourism and the Bojonegara-Merak-Cilegon Regions that serves as: industry, tourism, agriculture, ishery and mining
Investment iniiaives that has been successfully ideniied from government funds, private and state owned enterprise SOE as well as a mixture of all three.
In addiion to the major investments, there are also several investments that are part of 22 main economic aciviies, which includes Tourism, Agriculture, Food, Gas, Timber and Fisheries with a total investment
of IDR 100.2 Trillion. There are also ideniied investments outside the 22 primary economic aciviies developed in MP3EI, such as aciviies in gold mining with a total investment amount of IDR 44 Trillion.
