Lisa Martina, Analisis Ekspor Kopi Sumatera Utara dan Pengaruhnya Terhadap Tingkat
Kesejahteraan Petani Kopi Serta Kaitannya dengan Pengembangan Wilayah (Studi Kasus Kabupaten
Dairi). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perkembangan ekspor kopi Sumatera Utara dan
pengaruhnya terhadap produsen kopi ,pada level yang palingbawah yaitu petani kopi.
Laju rata-rata perkembangan produksi kopi Sumatera Utara (2,19%), volume ekspor kopi
Sumatera Utara (1,03%), lebih cepat dari laju rata-rata perkembangan produksi kopi dunia (1,9%),
dan perkembangan volume ekpsor kopi dunia (0,55%). Selain itu jumlah produksi kopi Sumatera
Utara setiap tahunnya masih lebih kecil dari jumlah volume ekspor kopi. Hal ini menunjukkan masih
terbukanya peluang bagi para petani kopi untuk mengembangkan produksinya.
Hasil analisis regresi dan uji t menunjukkan hasil produksi kopi Sumatera Utara terhadap
volume ekspornya, harga kopi pada tingkat ekspor berpengaruh nyata terhadap nilai ekspor kopi
Sumatera Utara, sedangkan berdasarkan uji F rasio-produksi kopi Sumatera Utara terhadap volume
ekspornya, volume ekspor kopi dunia, produksi kopi dunia dan harga kopi pada tingkat ekspor
berpengaruh nyata secara serentak terhadap nilai ekspor kopi dunia.
Berdasarkan hasil analisa regresi dan uji t menunjukkan luas lahan dan upah tenaga kerja
berpengaruh nyata terhadap produksi, kopi petani, sedangkan berdasarkan uji F luas lahan, upah
tenaga kerja dan biaya pemeliharaan berpengaruh nyata secara serentak terhadap produksi kopi
petani.
Pendapatan petani kopi tidak hanya didasarkan kepada jumlah produksi kopi yang dihasilkan tetapi
juga tergantung pada harga kopi yang terjadi pada tingkat petani. Harga kopi pada tingkat petani
sangat tergantung pada perubahan harga pada tingkat ekspor yang memperlihatkan adanya pengaruh
tidak langsung kegiatan ekspor terhadap pendapatan petani. Kegiatan usaha penanaman kopi yang
dilakukan petani mempunyai kontribusi terhadap wilayah melalui upah tenaga kerja (45%) dari
pendapatan kotor aan pengeluaran konsumsi sebesar 77% dari pendapatan bersih.

Summary
Lisa Marlina, Analysis of North Sumatera Coffee’s export and its influence to coffe farmer’s
prosperity rate and its relationship with the area Development (a study case in Kabupaten Dairi). The
objective of this researh is to know about the increasing of North Sumatera coffee’s export and its
influence to the coffe produeer at the lowest level (that is the coffe farmer’s level).
The average rate of the increasing North Sumatera coffee production is 2,19%, export volume
of North Sumatera coffee is 1,03%. This increasing is more rapid than the average rate of the
increasing in world coffe produeer (1,9%), and the increasing in export volume of world coffee
production is still smaller than the coffee export volume. This showed that there is still many
opportunities for the coffee farmer to develop their production.
The result of regression analysis and t-test showed that North Sumatera’s coffee production to
the export volume, coffee’s export price had a significant effect the North Sumatera’s coffee’s export
value, while based on F-test showed that the world coffee export volume, the world coffee production
and coffe’s export price had significant simultant effect to the world coffee’s export value.
Based on Regression Analysis and t-test showed that the area and labor cost had obvious
influence to the farmer coffee production, but based on F-test, the area planted, labor cost and
maintenance cost had significantly simultant effect to the farmer’s coffee production.
The coffe’s farmer’s income not only depend on the farmer’s coffee production but also to the
coffee’s price at the level of the farmer is very depend on the change in coffee’s export price which is
showed that there is an indirect effect coffee activity did by the farmer had a contribution to the coffee
planted area through labor cost is 45% out of gross income and consumption cost is 77% out of the
Net income.
