Dear Mr . Jurkiewicz,
With reference to the Article 9 and 10 of the
Payments Agreement concluded in Djakarta to-day, I have the
honour to request you to confirm the following understanding
reached between our two Delegations:
The overall net- balance of the "Indonesian Account"
and the "Polish Account" established in accordance with the
provisions of Article 9 - A and B and 10 - A of above mentioned
ａ ｾ ｲ･ｭｮｴ＠
will be transferred to the debit of a new account in
the nRme of the debtor bank , uhich account shall be redeemable
only with the proceeds of additional deliveries of goods agreed
upon by the two Contracting Parties or by transfer of effective
pounds s terli:1g by the debtor to the creditor in accorda.rice with
the provisions of Article 9- C of auove mentioned Agreement .
In this connection it has been agreed that araounts
reserved in the new account for the afore - mentioned additional
export of f!,Oods , delivery of which is not effectuated uithin
six months from the date the order was placed by the creditor,
shall be p e:. yabl e on dem nd of the creditor in effective pounds
sterling . In ca3e the payments As reemont uill be still in force
by then, tl-ie relative transactions will be settled through
the "Indonesian Account" or "Polish Account" as the case may
be in case the Payments Agreer.- ent will have been terminated
by then , the relative transactions 1·r ill be settled in
effective poundu sterlinG .
