(ABSTRAK) Perbedaan Hasil Belajar Siswa Antara Pembelajaran Menggunakan Model Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) Dan Pembelajaran Konvensional Pada Kompetensi Pemeliharaan Atau Servis Transmisi Manual Dan Komponen.

ABSTRACT

The problems that are revealed in this research is about is there a difference
and a significant increase in learning outcomes between students who are taught
using CTL learning model and conventional learning on the competence of
Pemeliharaan/Servis Transmisi Manual dan at SMK Nusantara Pelita 2
Semarang. This research aimed to know the difference and improvement of learning
outcomes between the experimental group taught with CTL learning model and
control group was taught with conventional learning. In this research using research
design pre experimental design with static group comparison pattern.The population
of this research are all students in grade XI TKR SMK Nusantara Pelita 2 Semarang
2009/2010 academic year. The samples from this research using cluster random
sampling method and obtained class XI TKR E as the experimental group and class
XI TKR C as the control group. Results of data analysis as a whole proves that there
is a difference and a significant increase in learning outcomes between learning who
use CTL model and conventional learning on the competence of Pemeliharaan/Servis
Transmisi manual dan Komponen. This can be seen on the results of the average
value of the initial data before the experiment at 45.72 for the experimental group
and 46.27 for control group which means there is no significant difference in
learning outcomes. Then after the experiment produced an average value of 82.66 to
62.38 for the experimental group and control group which means there is a

significant difference in learning outcomes after the experiment and significantly
increased from the initial condition that is 81% for the experimental group and
35% for the control group. So it can be said that the use of CTL learning model is
better than conventional learning because it can decisively improve student learning
outcomes are significantly and positively.
