LOGIC CHART BLOCK
This funct ion blocks perform s int erlock sequence cont rol program m ed in t he expression
of a logic chart diagram .
The following is t he funct ion block cat agorized as logic chart :
• Logic Chart LC64
Num ber of input elem ent s: 32
Num ber of out put elem ent s: 32
Num ber of logic elem ent s: 64

I n a logic chart block, t he condit ions and operat ions are list ed and t he com binat ion of
condit ions wit h t he logic operat iors corresponding t o t he logic requirem ent m ay
m anipulat e t he operat ion signals. This block can be used as t he descript ion of an
int erlock sequence cont rol or a logic chart .

and 64 logic elem ent s/ operat ors ( however, logic elem ent such as W.O, SR/ Flip- Flop,
or CMP is count ed as 2 logic elem ent operat ion.

There are t hree t ypes of scan periods:
- Basic Scan ( 1 second – fixed)
- Medium Speed Scan ( 200 & 500 m illiseconds)
50, 100, 250 m illiseconds are also applicable.
- High Speed Scan ( 200 & 500 m illiseconds)

Periodic Execut ion ( T)
The periodic execut ion m eans t hat t he sequence cont rol block is repeat edly execut ed in a
preset cycle.

One - Shot Execut ion ( O)
When execut ion t im ing of a funct ion block is defined as one- shot t ype, t he block is execut ed
only when it is invoked by ot her funct ion block. A one- shot funct ion block can invoke anot her
one- shot funct ion block. How ever, such succession is lim it ed t o seven blocks. I nvocat ion can
only be init iat ed from t he sam e FCS.
