Considering the results of previous collaboration as noted by tl!e tvtOU signerl on 22 April
2002 and its benefit on supporting DG FPNC mission and tasks;
Considering the common attention and interest toward biodiversity C'.mservation and natural
resources management to support sustainable development in Indonesia;
Pursuant to the prevailing laws and regulations in Indonesia, as wel l as the procedures and
policies of the Government of t he Republic of :ndonesia concerni ng international technical
cooperation;

promoting and supporting the conservatio:1 of lhe endangered speciP.S and ecosyste111 and
environmental services in Indonesia.

The program and mechanism of coopP.ration shall be stipulwted in Program Direction
which constitutes as an annex and integral part of this MoU;

Article 4
Contribution of the Parties
1) In accordance to applicable law and regulation, procedures and policies in Indor.esia, DG
FPNC Contribution would be:
a. Designate appropriate technk:nl unit counterpart to monitor and coordinate the
implementation of MOU a.1d appoi.1ting cou11terp3rt to actively participate in
collaborative activities;
b. Actively participate in the ーャ。ョゥセァL@
supervrs1on, implementation, and evaluation of
projects aryd activities undertaken under th:s MOU;
c. Ass:st in arrar.ging necessary
permits to enter and leave Indonesia whenever
necessary for approved FFI staff and experts, incl uding their work and residence
permits;

Revision, Annulment, Extension, and Cancellation
1) Any revision and cancellation parts or a:l of the contents in this MOU should be agreed
upon by both parties;
2) Extension of this MOU can be proposed セ エ@ least 6 (six) months before the agreement ends
and cou ld be approved based on evaluation and mutual consent.
3) In the even of the termination of rvtoU, shall bE> develop the plan of termination to ensure

Closing
Activities not regulated o,· not bound within the MOU shall be discussed further and agreed

Signed in Jakarta on the date of seven, of April, in year of 2010 in 2 (two) copies of both
original version in Bahasa Indonesia and translated version in English . Both versions should
have equal meaning, but if there arc differences in perception and interpretatio n, then the
Buhasu Indonesia version should be referred to.
