ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan
Lactobacillus sp dalam silase pucuk tebu terhadap kecernaan bahan kering
dan bahan organik (in vitro). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan JuniJuli 2013 di Laboratorium Nutrisi Ternak Ruminansia Balai Penelitian
Ternak Ciawi Bogor. Metode yang digunakan adalah eksperimental
menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL). Perlakuan terdiri atas 3 jenis
perlakuan, yaitu P0 (Pucuk Tebu Tanpa Fermentasi Tanpa Aditif), P1
(Pucuk Tebu dengan Molases 3%), P2 (Pucuk Tebu dengan Molases 3%
dan Lactobacillus sp 0,5%) setiap perlakuan diulang sebanyak enam kali.
Data yang diperoleh diuji menggunakan Kontras Ortoghonal. Hasil
penelitian menunjukkan kecernaan bahan kering dan bahan organik
tertinggi diperoleh pada perlakuan P0.

ABSTRACT
The aim of the reasearch was to know the effect of Lactobacillus sp
additition in the sugar cane tops ensilage (Shaccarum officinarum) to dry
matter and organic matter digestibility (in vitro). The reasearch was
conducted from June – July 2013 at Laboratorium Nutrisi Ternak
Ruminansia Balai Penelitian Ternak Ciawi, Bogor. The research used
experimental method with completely randomized design. The treatments
were arraged as followed; P0 (sugar cane tops without ensilase and
additive), P1 (sugar cane tops with molasses 3%), P2 (sugar cane tops with
molasses 3% and Lactobacillus sp 0,5%), each treatment was replicated six
times. The Data were analyzed by analysis of varians and ortoghonal
advanced test. The result of the reasearch indicated that highest of DM and
DM digestibility is P0 treatment.
