Article
1
Tho Government of the Republic of Indonesia and the Government of
the People ' s Republic of BulGaria shall grant each other no less

favourable treatment in trade between the two countries than applied to
any other countr"J also in impos:inc customs-duties on goods or conmod:ities
ar..d navigation between the two countries .
Within the framework of their respective legislations , they will
take all measures to facilitate the mutual exchange of goods or
coruaodities and services .
Article
2
The deliveries of goods or coll1!l!od:iti,es from Indonesia to Bulgaria
and from BulGaria to Indonesia during . the period of May 5th, 1961, upto
/i.th of L'.ay, 1963, shall be effected 'l'lithin the scope of the tarc;ets of
the goods or com.r:.odities mentioned in the lists
A
and B, attached to

this Agrecraent , whic)' f'on:i. an integral part of the Ai-reement .

have to be discussed every year by both parties.

The Indonesian and Bulgarian competent authorities will grant the
required licences in connection with the implementation of the targets
entered in the lists A and B within the scope of the general import-
,

export regulations in force in each country during the validity of
this Agreeoent .
Article 4
The two contracting Parties shall consider most favourably the
,,
possibilities of increasing the targets mentioned in the lists A and B,
attached to this .1greement, as well as the possibilities of negotiating
the exchange of goods or comraodities which are not mentioned in the
lists A and B.

Article
The deliveries of goods or comoodities as mentioned in Article 2

of this Agreement shall be effected through contracts concluded between

authorised Indonesian Foreign Trade

which are autononous and independent juridical persons, and authorised

Bulgarian Foreign Trade Enterprises and Organisations, which are
autonomous and independent juridical persons, and physical and juridical
persons dealing in foreign trade.
Article
6
All payments between tho two countries shall be effected in
convertible Pounds Sterling.
In
particular cases, and if' agreed upon by both Governments,
payments may also be effected in another convertible currency.
All contracts, invoices, drafts, etc., shall thereof be

either in Pounds Sterling or in any other currency, as the case may be .
The Bank Indonesia and the Bulgarska Narodna Banke. shall by
mutual agreement determine the type of currency in case of payment i n
currencies other than Pounds Sterling.

Contracting Parties agree to consult each other in res?ect of any matters
arising from or in connection with the trade between the two countries,

they will fonn a Joint Committee which will meet not later than 45 days
before the end of each contract yea:r either in Sofia or Djakarta.

The present Lo11g- Tenn Trade 'greemcnt replaces the Trade Agreement
between Indonesi a and Bulgaria signed in Djakarta on January 27, 1959,
and shall come into for ce provisionally on the day of its being signed.
The present Agreement will definitely come into fierce after exchange

of notes to that effect between the two Government, and shall remo.in
in force until 4.th of May, 1963.
rhree months before the expiration of this agreeruent the two
contracting Parties shall meet either to discuss modifications in the
present Agreement, or to conclude a new trade Agreement.
