LETTER OF INTENT
BETWEEN
THE REGENCY OF BANTUL OF THE REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA
AND
THE CITY OF PARAMARIBO OF THE REPUBLIC OF SURINAME
ON
SISTER CITY COOPERATION

The Regency of Bantul of the Republic of Indonesia and the City of Paramaribo of the
Republic of Suriname, hereinafter referred to as the "Parties";

DESIRING to promote favorable relations and cooperation between the Parties;
RECOGNIZING the principle of equality and mutual benefit of the cooperation between
the Parties.

The Parties hereby declare their intention to establish cooperation for the development
of Sister City, pursuant to the laws and regulations of the respective Parties in the
areas of culture, tourism, education , agriculture , health, and other mutually agreed
areas of cooperation .

Further technical arrangements required to implement this Letter of Intent will be

discussed between the Parties on an agreed date and venue.

SIGNED at Paramaribo on this twenty-sixth day of September, in the year two
thousand and fourteen , in duplicate, in English languages.
