 People tend to burn plastic and rubber to reduce the waste of plastic and rubber,
 Whereas, by burning plastic or rubber can be dangerous to human life and the environment,

 There are a lot of dangerous chemical compound as a result of buring plastic and rubber,
 These include dioxins and furans. Studies have linked dioxins and furans to cancer and
respiratory disease.

SLIDE 3:
Solutions
There is a solution that can be used to reduce the waste of rubber and plastic waste called
PYROLYSIS.

PYROLYSIS can turn waste into energy rich fuels by heating under controlled conditions
While the processes are similar, there are some differences.
Pyrolysis involves heating waste to high temperature ( antara 400-800) in absence of oxygen.
Synthesis gas, pyrolysis liquid and solid char are produced.
The syntetsis of gas can be used to generate electricity/ Pyrolysis liquid can be used as a fuel or to
make new products such as ethanol The char can be used as a solid fuel or as a nutrient additive to
improve.
