I. Competence Standard :

On completing the course the students are able to 1 improve their reading comprehension ability previewing, predicting, skimming and scanning, 2 improve their speed in reading, 3develop their vocabularies, 4 develop oral reading skills by reading aloud with correct pronunciation.

II. Basic Competence :
