ABSTRAK

HUBUNGAN KEPUASAN KERJA DAN DISIPLIN KERJA DENGAN
PRODUKTIVITAS KERJA KARYAWAN PADA
HOTEL INNA DHARMA DELI MEDAN

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis hubungan dari
kepuasan kerja dan disiplin kerja dengan produktivitas kerja karyawan pada Hotel
Inna Dharma Deli Medan bagian Marketing dan Front Office.
Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian asosiatif, yaitu penelitian yang
mencari hubungan antara satu variabel dengan variabel lain. Populasi dan sampel
pada penelitian ini adalah karyawan bagian Marketing dan Front Office pada
Hotel Inna Dharma Deli Medan yang berjumlah 34 orang. Dengan teknik
pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah teknik sampling jenuh.
Pengumpulan data primer dilakukan melalui kuesioner yang diukur menggunakan
skala likert. Data sekunder juga dikumpulkan untuk mendukung analisis dalam
penelitian ini. Metode analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah
analisis deskriptif dan analisis korelasi yaitu dengan analisis korelasi person
product momment.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepuasan kerja dan disiplin kerja
berhubungan erat dan signifikan dengan produktivitas karyawan Hotel Inna

Dharma Deli Medan pada bagian Marketing dan Front Office. Analisis korelasi
person product momment menunjukkan variabel disiplin kerja merupakan variabel
yang berhubungan lebih erat dengan produktivitas karyawan pada Hotel Inna
Dharma Deli Medan bagian Marketing dan Front Office. Dimana nilai koefisien
determinasi (R2) bernilai 63,6% yang menunjukkan kemampuan variabel
kepuasan kerja dan disiplin kerja dalam menerangkan keragaman variabel
produktivitas.

ABSTRACT

THE CORELATION OF WORK SATISFACTION AND WORK
DISCIPLINE FOR EMPLOYEE PRODUCTIVITY AT
HOTEL INNA DHARMA DELI MEDAN

Purpose this research to investigate and analyze the correlation of work
satisfaction and work discipline for employee productivity at Hotel Inna Dharma
Deli Medan part of Marketing and Front Office.

This research is explanatory research, that is an observation which looks
for the relation between one variable with another variable. Population and
sample in this observation were employee Marketing and Front Office at Hotel
Inna Dharma Deli Medan as much as 34 people. With the sampling technique
used is saturated samples. The collecting of primary data is done by using
questionnaire which is measured by likert scale. Secondary data were also
collected to support the analysis of this research. Methods of analysis used in this
research is descriptive and correlation analysis with correlation person product
moment.
The result showed that work satisfaction and work discipline and
significant with employee productivity of Hotel Inna Dharma Deli Medan part of
Marketing and Front Office. The analysis correlation person product moment
indicates that the variable work discipline is firmly correlation with productivity
of employee at Hotel Inna Dharma Deli Medan part of Marketing and Front
Office. Where the value of the coefficient of determination (R2) worth 63,6%
variable that shows the ability of job satisfaction and work discipline in explaining
diversity variables productivity.
