Karakteristik Pasien Bakterial Vaginosis di Rumah Sakit Umum Pusat Haji Adam Malik, Medan Periode 2009 – 2012

ABSTRAK
Bakterial

Vaginosis

adalah

suatu

kondisi

pada

wanita

dimana

keseimbangan normal bakteri di vagina terganggu dan digantikan oleh
pertumbuhan berlebih dari bakteri tertentu.

Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif retrospektif, yaitu masa lalu. Tujuannya,
untuk mengetahui Karakteristik Pasien Bakterial Vaginosis di Rumah Sakit
Umum Pusat Haji Adam Malik, Medan Periode 2009 – 2012 berdasarkan usia,
agama, ras atau suku, status perkawinan, tingkat pendidikan, pekerjaan dan
riwayat pasangan seksual. Populasi dan sampel adalah sebanyak 303 orang. Cara
pengambilan sampel adalah seluruh anggota populasi sebagai sampel dan data
sampel diolah oleh program SPSS dan diinterpretasikan dalam bentuk tabel.
Jumlah pasien yang paling banyak menderita Bakterial Vaginosis menurut
karakteristik dari kategori usia 35 – 44 tahun yaitu sebanyak 108 orang 35,6%,
dari kategori agama Islam 152 orang 50,2%, dari kategori suku Batak 134 orang
44,2% ,kategori status perkawinan kawin 238 orang 78,5% dengan tingkat
pendidikan tamat SMA 159 orang 52,5%, dengan pekerjaan Ibu Rumah Tangga
(IRT) 203 orang 67,0%, dengan riwayat pasangan seksual satu pasangan 247
orang 81,5%.
Dapat disimpulkan bahwa karakteristik pasien Bakterial Vaginosis
terbanyak adalah dari kelompok usis 35 – 44 tahun, agama Islam, suku Batak,
status perkawinan kawin, tingkat pendidikan SMA, pekerjaan Ibu Rumah Tangga
dan riwayat pasangan seksual satu pasangan.

ABSTRACT

Bacterial vaginosis is a condition in women where the normal balance of
bacteria in the vagina is disrupted and replaced by an overgrowth of certain
bacteria .
This is a descriptive retrospective study , namely the past . The goal , to
know Bacterial Vaginosis Characteristics of Patients in General Hospital Haji
Adam Malik , Medan period 2009 - 2012 based on age , religion , race or
ethnicity, marital status , education level , occupation and history of sexual
partners . Population and sample are as many as 303 people . It took the entire
population as the sample and the sample data is processed by the SPSS program
and interpreted in the form of a table .
The number of patients who suffer from Bacterial Vaginosis most widely
according to the characteristics of the age category 35-44 years as many as 108

people 35.6 % , of the category of religion , Islam 152 people 50.2 % , of the
category of the tribe , Batak 134 people 44.2 % , categories of marital status ,
78.5 % of 238 mating with the level of education completed high school 159 52.5
% , with job Housewife ( IRT ) 203 67.0 % , with a history of sexual partners one

It can be concluded that the characteristics of patients Bacterial vaginosis
is the most age group 35-44 years , the Islamic religion , ethnic Batak , married
marital status , education level of high school , occupation Housewife and a
history of sexual partners one partner .
