GAMBARAN FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG BERKONTRIBUSI TERHADAP INTENSI IBU MERAWAT KESEHATAN GIGI DAN MULUT PADA ANAK DOWN SYNDROME DI SLB-C KOTA BANDUNG.

ABSTRAK
Keberhasilan perawatan gigi dan mulut serta pencegahan penyakit
periodontal pada anak down syndrome sangat berpengaruh pada perilaku ibu kepada
anak tersebut. Muncul atau tidak nya perilaku dalam menerapkan perawatan
kesehatan gigi dan mulut sebenarnya dapat dilihat dari intensi atau kecenderungan
ibu untuk melakukan perilaku.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui
gambaran faktor-faktor yang berkontribusi terhadap intensi ibu merawat kesehatan
gigi dan mulut pada anak down syndrome di SLB-C kota Bandung.
Penelitian ini dilakukan pada 32 responden ibu yang memiliki anak down
syndrome di 9 SLB-C Kota Bandung yang diambil dengan teknik purposive
sampling. Alat ukur yang digunakan adalah kuesioner yang dikembangkan dari
Theory of Planned Behavior Questionnares: Manual for Researcher (Icek Ajzen
:2006). Alat ukur ini telah diuji dan memiliki nilai realibilitas alat ukur 0,715.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa seluruh responden ibu memiliki intensi
yang kuat untuk merawat kesehatan gigi dan mulut anak down syndrome. Ketiga
faktor pembentuk intensi yaitu sikap terhadap perilaku memiliki hasil yang kuat
sebesar 100%, norma subjektif kuat sebesar 98,3%, dan persepsi terhadap kontrol
kuat sebesar 78,1%

ABSTRACT

The Success dental and mouth treatment as well as the prevention of
periodontal disease on child down syndrome is very influential on the behavior of
mother. Appear or no her behavior in applying dental and oral health care could
actually be seen from a mother’s intention or perform the behaivor. The purpose of
this reseach is to get decription of determinane factors that contribute to the
maternal care of intention dental and mouth health care for down syndrome in SLBC Bandung.
The data of the research was taken from 32 mother who has down syndrome
child in Bandung by using incidental sampling technique. The questionaire
developed from the theory of Planned Behavior Qustionaires: Manual for
Researcher (Icek Ajzen :2006) as measuring instrument. The questionaire has
realibility 0,715
The result of this study 100% of mothers had strong intention caring dental
and mouth healty of down syndrome child. The third determinant factor was 100%
of mother had strong of attitude toward behavior,93,8%% of mothers had strong
subjective norms and 78,1% of mothers had positive perceived control behavior
