Gambaran profil pada pasien kanker usus besar di RSUP Haji Adam Malik, Medan dari Januari 2014 hingga Desember 2015

ABSTRAK
Kanker usus besar adalah suatu penyakit neoplasma yang ganas yang berasal atau
tumbuh di dalam struktur saluran usus besar (kolon) dan rektum yang merupakan
bagian dari sistem pencernaan. Menurut WHO, kanker usus besar menduduki
peringkat keempat jenis kanker yang paling sering terjadi di dunia. Di Indonesia,
kanker usus besar menempati urutan ketiga setelah kanker lain. Penelitian ini
bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran profil pada pasien kanker usus besar di
RSUP Haji Adam Malik Medan yang bersifat deskriptif retrospektif.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 78 pasien yang didiagnosis kanker usus
besar dari tahun 2014-2015. Sebanyak 53 pasien (67,9%) adalah laki-laki, dan
sebanyak 25 pasien (32,1%) adalah perempuan. Pasien dengan usia 51-60 tahun
yaitu sebanyak 31 orang (39,7%), dan penderita yang beragama Kristen sebanyak
42 pasien (53,8%), pekerjaan terbanyak adalah petani, 32,1% (25 pasien),
penderita kanker usus besar yang pernah merokok yaitu sebanyak 46 pasien
(59,0%), pasien yang tidak konsumsi alkohol sebanyak 51 pasien (65,4%). Angka
kejadian kanker usus besar berdasarkan gejala klinis frekuensi tertinggi adalah
BAB berdarah, yaitu 23 pasien (29,5%) dan yang mendapat terapi pembedahan
sebanyak 36 pasien (46,2%).

ABSTRACT
Colon cancer is a disease in which malignant neoplasm derived or grown within
the structure of the large intestine (colon) and rectum, which is part of the
digestive system. According to WHO, colon cancer ranks fourth in cancer types
most common in the world. In Indonesia, colon cancer ranks third after another
cancer. This study aims to describe the profile in patients with colon cancer in
Haji
Adam
Malik
Hospital
descriptive
retrospective.
Results showed that 78 patients were diagnosed with colon cancer from 2014 to
2015 year. A total of 53 patients (67.9%) were male, and 25 patients (32.1%)
were women. Patients aged 51-60 years with as many as 31 people (39.7%), and

patients who are Christians as many as 42 patients (53.8%), most jobs are
farmers, 32.1% (25 patients), patients with colon cancer had ever smoked as
many as 46 patients (59.0%), patients with no alcohol consumption were 51
patients (65.4%). The incidence of colon cancer based on clinical symptoms
highest frequency is bloody bowel movements, that 23 patients (29.5%) and who
received
