Skema Alur Pikir
1. Ilmu kedokteran gigi forensik merupakan cabang dari ilmu kedokteran
forensik yang belajar tentang cara-cara penanganan dan pemeriksaan
bukti-bukti melalui gigi, jaringan sekitarnya dan evaluasi serta pemaparan
hasil-hasil penemuan yang berhubungan dengan rongga mulut untuk
kepentingan pengadilan.
2. Identifikasi adalah penentuan dan pemastian identitas orang yang hidup
maupun orang mati berdasarkan ciri-ciri khas yang terdapat pada orang
tersebut. Identitas yang mendukung identifikasi dari suatu korban dapat
berupa identitas biologis dan non biologis.
3. Interpol mengklasifikasikan identifikasi menjadi Primary Identifier yang
terdiri dari fingerprint (FP), dental record (DR), dan DNA serta Secondary
Identifier yang terdiri dari medical (M), property (P), dan photography
(PG) dimana Primary Identifier memiliki tingkat kepercayaan lebih tinggi
dibanding Secondary Identifier.
4. Pola keriput pada bibir mempunyai karakteristik tersendiri pada setiap
individu sama halnya dengan sidik jari. Keriput dan alur pada mukosa
labial (sulci labiorum) membentukkan pola karakteristik yang bernama
sidik bibir, studi yang berkaitan dengan ilmu bidang ini dinamakan
cheiloscopy.

mengidentifikasikan seseorang berdasarkan ciri-ciri susunan garis yang
muncul pada bagian merah bibir manusia atau ilmu alami yang berkaitan
dengan garis-garis yang muncul pada bagian merah bibir manusia.
6. Sharma et al. menyatakan bahwa sidik bibir sangat berguna dalam
penyelidikan forensik serta identifikasi individu sebanding dengan sidik
jari dikarenakan keunikan sidik bibir seperti sidik jari, tidak ada dua
individu yang mempunyai sidik bibir atau jari yang sama.

7. Bajpai, Saraswathi, Verghese, Augustine dan Jatti mengatakan bahwa
sidik bibir dominan antara laki-laki dan perempuan adalah sama.
8. Saputri, Kumar, Sharma (2009), Sharma (2014), Neo dan Gondivkar
menyatakan bahwa terdapat perbedaan antara sidik bibir dominan antara
laki-laki dan perempuan.
9. Sebagai metode identifikasi forensik, pola sidik bibir dipengaruhi oleh
jenis kelamin dan ras.
Berdasarkan latar belakang tersebut maka penulis merasa tertarik
melakukan penelitian untuk melihat perbedaan sidik bibir pada laki-laki dan
perempuan sebagai panduan menentukan jenis kelamin seseorang terutama
etnis Tionghoa Malaysia di Universitas Sumatera Utara.
Rumusan Masalah
1. Bagaimanakah pola sidik bibir berdasarkan klasifikasi Suzuki dan
Tsuchihashi pada etnis Tionghoa Malaysia di Universitas Sumatera Utara?
2. Apakah terdapat perbedaan pola sidik bibir dominan antara laki-laki dan
perempuan berdasarkan klasifikasi Suzuki dan Tsuchihashi pada etnis
Tionghoa Malaysia di Universitas Sumatera Utara?
3. Apakah terdapat perbedaan pola sidik bibir dominan antara laki-laki dan
perempuan menurut tipe berdasarkan klasifikasi Suzuki dan Tsuchihashi pada
etnis Tionghoa Malaysia di Universitas Sumatera Utara?

Tujuan Penelitian
Penelitian ini dilakukan bertujuan untuk:
1. Mengetahui pola sidik bibir berdasarkan klasifikasi Suzuki dan
Tsuchihashi pada suku Tionghoa Malaysia di Universitas Sumatera
Utara.
2. Mengetahui perbedaan pola sidik bibir laki-laki dan perempuan
berdasarkan klasifikasi Suzuki dan Tsuchihashi pada suku
Tionghoa Malaysia di Universitas Sumatera Utara.
3. Mengetahui perbedaan pola sidik bibir dominan antara laki-laki
dan perempuan menurut tipe berdasarkan klasifikasi Suzuki dan
Tsuchihashi pada etnis Tionghoa Malaysia di Universitas Sumatera
Utara.

lain untuk melakukan penelitian lebih lanjut tentang pola sidik
bibir.

1. Menginformasikan kepada ahli forensik mengenai perbedaan pola
sidik bibir antara jenis kelamin yang berbeda.
2. Menjadi bahan rujukan bagi peneliti-peneliti lain yang ingin
melakukan penelitian lainnya mengenai pola sidik bibir.
3. Memberikan informasi terhadap ilmu pengetahuan tentang sidik
bibir sebagai alternatif sidik jari untuk tim forensik.

perempuan menurut tipe berdasarkan klasifikasi Suzuki dan Tsuchihashi
pada etnis Tionghoa Malaysia di Univesitas Sumatera Utara.
Dalam penelitian ini, akan dilakukan perlengketan selotip pada bibir Saudara/i
untuk mendapatkan sidik bibir.
Adapun ketidaknyamanan yang dialami dalam prosedur penelitian yaitu
perlengketan selotip pada bibir yang dapat menimbulkan perasaan mual. Namun
keuntungan menjadi subjek penelitian yaitu Anda dapat mengetahui pola sidik bibir
pada laki-laki dan perempuan etnis Tionghoa Malaysia sebagai sumbangan kepada
keilmuan forensik. Pemeriksaan yang dilakukan tidak dikenakan biaya apapun.

Skema Alur Pikir
1. Ilmu kedokteran gigi forensik merupakan cabang dari ilmu kedokteran
forensik yang belajar tentang cara-cara penanganan dan pemeriksaan
bukti-bukti melalui gigi, jaringan sekitarnya dan evaluasi serta pemaparan
hasil-hasil penemuan yang berhubungan dengan rongga mulut untuk
kepentingan pengadilan.
2. Identifikasi adalah penentuan dan pemastian identitas orang yang hidup
maupun orang mati berdasarkan ciri-ciri khas yang terdapat pada orang
tersebut. Identitas yang mendukung identifikasi dari suatu korban dapat
berupa identitas biologis dan non biologis.
3. Interpol mengklasifikasikan identifikasi menjadi Primary Identifier yang
terdiri dari fingerprint (FP), dental record (DR), dan DNA serta Secondary
Identifier yang terdiri dari medical (M), property (P), dan photography
(PG) dimana Primary Identifier memiliki tingkat kepercayaan lebih tinggi
dibanding Secondary Identifier.
4. Pola keriput pada bibir mempunyai karakteristik tersendiri pada setiap
individu sama halnya dengan sidik jari. Keriput dan alur pada mukosa
labial (sulci labiorum) membentukkan pola karakteristik yang bernama
sidik bibir, studi yang berkaitan dengan ilmu bidang ini dinamakan
cheiloscopy.

mengidentifikasikan seseorang berdasarkan ciri-ciri susunan garis yang
muncul pada bagian merah bibir manusia atau ilmu alami yang berkaitan
dengan garis-garis yang muncul pada bagian merah bibir manusia.
6. Sharma et al. menyatakan bahwa sidik bibir sangat berguna dalam
penyelidikan forensik serta identifikasi individu sebanding dengan sidik
jari dikarenakan keunikan sidik bibir seperti sidik jari, tidak ada dua
individu yang mempunyai sidik bibir atau jari yang sama.

7. Bajpai, Saraswathi, Verghese, Augustine dan Jatti mengatakan bahwa
sidik bibir dominan antara laki-laki dan perempuan adalah sama.
8. Saputri, Kumar, Sharma (2009), Sharma (2014), Neo dan Gondivkar
menyatakan bahwa terdapat perbedaan antara sidik bibir dominan antara
laki-laki dan perempuan.
9. Sebagai metode identifikasi forensik, pola sidik bibir dipengaruhi oleh
jenis kelamin dan ras.
Berdasarkan latar belakang tersebut maka penulis merasa tertarik
melakukan penelitian untuk melihat perbedaan sidik bibir pada laki-laki dan
perempuan sebagai panduan menentukan jenis kelamin seseorang terutama
etnis Tionghoa Malaysia di Universitas Sumatera Utara.
Rumusan Masalah
1. Bagaimanakah pola sidik bibir berdasarkan klasifikasi Suzuki dan
Tsuchihashi pada etnis Tionghoa Malaysia di Universitas Sumatera Utara?
2. Apakah terdapat perbedaan pola sidik bibir dominan antara laki-laki dan
perempuan berdasarkan klasifikasi Suzuki dan Tsuchihashi pada etnis
Tionghoa Malaysia di Universitas Sumatera Utara?
3. Apakah terdapat perbedaan pola sidik bibir dominan antara laki-laki dan
perempuan menurut tipe berdasarkan klasifikasi Suzuki dan Tsuchihashi pada

Tujuan Penelitian
Penelitian ini dilakukan bertujuan untuk:
1. Mengetahui pola sidik bibir berdasarkan klasifikasi Suzuki dan
Tsuchihashi pada suku Tionghoa Malaysia di Universitas Sumatera
Utara.
2. Mengetahui perbedaan pola sidik bibir laki-laki dan perempuan
berdasarkan klasifikasi Suzuki dan Tsuchihashi pada suku
Tionghoa Malaysia di Universitas Sumatera Utara.
3. Mengetahui perbedaan pola sidik bibir dominan antara laki-laki
dan perempuan menurut tipe berdasarkan klasifikasi Suzuki dan
Tsuchihashi pada etnis Tionghoa Malaysia di Universitas Sumatera
Utara.

Perkenalkan saya adalah mahasiswa yang sedang menjalani pendidikan dokter
gigi di Fakultas Kedokteran Gigi, Universitas Sumatera Utara. Bersama ini saya mohon
kesediaan Saudara/i…………………………….. untuk berpartisipasi sebagai subjek
penelitian saya yang berjudul : “Sidik Bibir Sebagai Sarana dalam Identifikasi Forensik
Pada Etnis Tionghoa Malaysia di Medan”
Tujuan penelitian ini, yaitu:
1. Mengetahui pola sidik bibir berdasarkan klasifikasi Suzuki dan Tsuchihashi
pada etnis Tionghoa Malaysia di Universitas Sumatera Utara.
2. Mengetahui perbedaan pola sidik bibir dominan antara laki-laki dan
perempuan berdasarkan klasifikasi Suzuki dan Tsuchihashi pada etnis
Tionghoa Malaysia di Univeritas Sumatera Utara.
3. Mengetahui perbedaan pola sidik bibir dominan antara laki-laki dan
perempuan menurut tipe berdasarkan klasifikasi Suzuki dan Tsuchihashi
pada etnis Tionghoa Malaysia di Univesitas Sumatera Utara.
Dalam penelitian ini, akan dilakukan perlengketan selotip pada bibir Saudara/i
untuk mendapatkan sidik bibir.
Adapun ketidaknyamanan yang dialami dalam prosedur penelitian yaitu
perlengketan selotip pada bibir yang dapat menimbulkan perasaan mual. Namun
keuntungan menjadi subjek penelitian yaitu Anda dapat mengetahui pola sidik bibir
pada laki-laki dan perempuan etnis Tionghoa Malaysia sebagai sumbangan kepada
keilmuan forensik. Pemeriksaan yang dilakukan tidak dikenakan biaya apapun.
