Determinan Pemanfaatan KB Metode Operasi Pria di Puskesmas Batang Kuis Tahun 2016
ABSTRAK
Keikutsertaan pria dalam program KB secara nasional masih rendah.karena
dari 45.972.185 PUS dan 43.776.352 (95,22%) akseptor KB, hanya 1.919.948
(4,39%) pria yang ikut berpartisipasi dalam ber KB. Keikutsertaan pria dalam
program KB, khususnya KB Metode Operasi Pria di Puskesmas Batang Kuis
kecamatan Batang Kuis, Kabupaten Deliserdang, Provinsi Sumatera Utara juga
masih rendah. Dari 10.249 PUS dan 10.023 akseptor KB, ada 204 (2,04%)
akseptor KB Metode Operasi Pria yang tersebar di 11 desa. Ada dugaan bahwa
pengetahuan, sikap, ketersediaan pelayanan Metode Operasi Pria, keterjangkauan
sarana kesehatan, dukungan istri, dan peran petugas kesehatan memengaruhi
pemanfaatan KB Metode Operasi Pria di Puskesmas Batang Kuis.
Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survey explanatory yaitu penelitian
yang menjelaskan pengaruh pengetahuan, sikap, ketersediaan pelayanan Metode
Operasi Pria, keterjangkauan sarana kesehatan, dukungan istri, dan peran petugas
kesehatan terhadap pemanfaatan KB Metode Operasi Pria di Puskesmas Batang
Kuis tahun 2016. Populasi penelitian ini sebanyak 7.616 dan sampel pada
penelitian ini yaitu 100 sampel yang di tentukan menggunakan rumus Slovin.
Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan kuisioner, dianalisis dengan univariat,
bivariat (Chi-Squere), dan multivariat (regresi logistik berganda).
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel yang berpengaruh terhadap
pemanfaatan KB Metode Operaasi Pria yaitu peran petugas kesehatan
(p=0,0160,05).
Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diharapkan 1) Kepada Dinas Kesehatan
Kabupaten Deli Serdang untuk memberikan dukungan kepada Puskesmas Batang
Kuis dalam meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan kesehatan, khususnya mengenai KB
Metode Operasi Pria dan turut serta membuat kebijakan yang dapat meningkatkan
pemanfaatan KB Metode Operasi Pria, 2) Petugas kesehatan meningkatkan
kerjasama dengan pemerintah, tokoh masyarakat, dan kader setempat untuk
menggerakkan masyarakat atau memberdayakan masyarakat dalam pemanfaatan
KB Metode Operasi Pria di Puskesmas Batang Kuis.

ABSTRACK
Nationally, paticipation of men in family planning is still low because from
45.972.180 of spouses and 43.776.352 (92,22%) acceptors of family planning,
there are only 1.919.948 (4,39%) men that participate in family planning. The
participation of men in family palanning especially in surgery method for men in
Batangkuis public health center is still low too. The 10.249 fertile spouses and the
10.023 family planning’s acceptors, there are 204 (2,04%) acceptors of family
planning by surgery mothod for men spread over 11 villages. There are
allegations that knowledge, attitude, availability of surgery method for men
services, accesability of health services, wife’s support, and the role of health
officer influence the utility of surgery method for men in family planning in the
public halth center of Batangkuis.
This research used explanatory survey method that the research explained
the influence of knowledge, attitude, availability of surgery method for men
services, accesability of health services, wife’s support, and the role of health
officer to utilize the surgery method for men in family planning in the public halth
center of Batangkuis in year 2016. The population in this research were 7.616
and the sampel were 100 that were determined by Slovin’s rule. The data were
collected by questionaires, analysed by univariate, bivariate (Chi-square) and
multivariate (logistic regression).
The results of this this research showed the variable that influenced the
utility of surgery method for men in family planning was the health officer
(p=0,0160,05).
As to the results of this research it was expected: 1) To the Chief of Health
Department of Deli Serdang in order to provide the support to the Public Health
Center of Batangkuis that upgrading the quality of services, especially the surgery
methode for men in family planning services and involve in making plicies that
increasing the utility of the surgery method for men in family planning; 2) To the
health officer in order to be able to have a good cooperative understanding with
the government, community leaders, and the local cadres to move people and
empowering them in utilization of surgery method for men in family planning in
the Public Health Center of Batangkuis.
