·1 H.E EMBASSY OF THE KINGDOM OF THAILAND IN LISBON, PORTUGAL

The Government of the Republic of Indonesia and the Government of the
Kingdom of Thailand;

Hecognizing the friendly relations existing between the Governments and
peoples of the two countric::;;
Recalling th e Agrccme11i ｂｾ ｴ ｷ･ｮ＠
Portugal and Indonesia on the Establishment

of the Interests Sections 3igned in New York on 27 November 1998;
Have agreed a,j follows:
l.
An [nterests Section of the Rer.ublic of ludone:>ia shall be established within the
premises of the ｅｭ｢｡
ｳ ｾｹ＠
of the Kingdom of Thaila nd in Lisbon, Portugal (hereinafter
rcfeffcd to as the Embassy) prnvided in tl1e Agreement Between Portugal and
lndone:iia on the EstabUshment ofinterests Sections of 27 November 1998.
The Goverr.ment of the K ingdom of Thailand shall provide an office space for

the Tntc:rcsts Section of the Republic of Indonesia within the premi!:es of the Embassy
and facilitate the cs tab Iishment of the Interests Section.

The Interests Sectil.'ll of the Re1.1ublic of Indonesia and the Indonesian
dip Joma ts serving in the Interests Section sl1all carry out diplomatic and consular
fun c tions on behal r of the Government of the Republic of Indonesia in accordance
with the Vienna c . mvcntion OU Diplomatic Relations l 961 and the Vienna Convention
on Consular Relations 1963.
