Excellency,
I wish to refer to the point 33 of the Agreed Minutes of the Second
Senior Officials' Meeting of the Joint Commission for Bilateral Cooperation
between the Kingdom of Cambodia and the Republic of Indonesia held in
Yogyakarta on 2nd August 2004 concerning mutual exemption of visas for
holders of diplomatic and service passports.


In this regard, I have the honor to propose the following arrangements:
A. For the Government of the Kingdom of Cambodia:
1.

The Government of the Kingdom of Cambodia shall waive visa
requirements for Indonesian nationals who are holders of valid
Indonesian diplomatic or service passports for entry into, stay
in or transit through the territory of the Kingdom of Cambodia
for a period not exceeding fourteen (14) days from their arrival
in the Kingdom of Cambodia.

2.

Indonesian nationals who are holders of valid Indonesian
diplomatic or service passports who are assigned as members
of the diplomatic or consular mission of the Republic of
Indonesia in the Kingdom of Cambodia, including their family
members (the term family members refer to the spouse and
urunarried children under the age of 25 years, in confonnity
with Indonesian laws), shall be required to obtain appropriate

entry visas from the Royal Cambodian Embassy in Jakarta.

B. For the Government of the Republic of Indonesia:
1.

The Government of the Republic of Indonesia shall waive visn
requirements for Cambodian nationals who are holders of valid
Cambodian diplomatic or service passpm1s for entry into, stny
in or transit through the territory of the Republic of Indonesia
for a period not exceeding fourteen ( 14) days from their arrival

in the Republic of [ndonesia.

2.

Cambodian nationals who are holders of valid Cambodian ..
diplomatic or service passports who are assigned as members
of the diplomatic or consular mission of the Kingdom of
Cambodia in the Republic of Indonesia, including their family
members (the tem1 family members refer to the spouse and
unmarried children under the age of 18 years, in confonnity
with Cambodian laws), shall be required to obtain appropriate
entry visas from the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in
Plmom Penh.

On behalf of the Govenunent of the Kjngdom of Cambodia, r have
further the honor to propose that this letter and Your Excellency' s letter in
reply confinning the foregoing arrangements shall be regarded as constituting
an agreement between the two Governments, which will enter into force 30
(thirty) days from the date of signing this letter and Your Excellency's letter.
