the implementation of the project5 mentioned in .:i11icle 1. Direct or indirect taxei, cu5tom duties, levies and administrative
expenses. larid acqui5iti9ns .:md ottier expenses non directly connected to these projects are not eligible.
bi Corurarn or part of contracts related to local pam may be 1jenominated in ln1jonesian Rupiahs They must be
signed or co1.mtersigned and submitted to French authorities for amiption. by the concemed Frenct1 companies.
Paymerus are made in French francs to the French company. ·lCC01'1jing to contr.jcmal provisiom if any, or at the
prevailing rate quoted by the bank oi Indonesia at the date oi the dr.:iwing as specified in the C1)nver1tion oi implementation and up
to the renBining available amount dedicated to financing of local P·ll'I.
In case this remaining amour1t proves imufficiem , Indonesian .:iuthorities will pl'OVide the additional financing to
complete the implementation of the projects concemed.
ARTICLE 8
Al1/ party may proceed to 1.mdertake po5t evaluation of the projects financed under thlS protoceil provided the
existence of aprior infom1arion fonnalised by an exchange of letteN between the French Economic .]nd Commercial Counsellor
to the Frenct1 Embassy in Indonesia and BAPPENAS. Evaluation results wlll be totwarded to the other party.
ARTICLE 9
The last date ior signing the contracts iinanced under the pres em protocol shall be on November .30th. 1989
No drawing shall be made for the credrt allocated under the present protocol after the dates mentioned in the
annex attached hereto.
The P,reseruprotocol shall enter into force on date of tts signature.
