ABSTRAK
PENGARUH STRUKTUR CORPORATE GOVERNANCE DAN
INTELLECTUAL CAPITAL (IC) TERHADAP KINERJA KEUANGAN
PERUSAHAAN INFRASTRUKTUR, UTILITAS, DAN
TRANSPORTASI DI BURSA EFEK INDONESIA
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan bukti empiris tentang
pengaruh struktur Corporate Governance (dewan komisaris, dewan komisaris
independen, dewan direksi, kepemilikan institusional) dan Intellectual Capital
(Value Added Intellectual Coefficient/VAICTM) terhadap kinerja keuangan (ROA)
baik secara parsial maupun simultan Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian
kuantitatif dan jenis data yang digunakan adalah data sekunder kuantitatif yang
berasal dari laporan keuangan perusahaan yang dipublikasikan oleh Bursa Efek
Indonesia, buku-buku referensi, majalah, internet, dan literatur ilmiah lainnya
yang berkaitan dengan topik bahasan penelitian.
Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui studi dokumentasi dengan
mengumpulkan data pendukung dari literatur, jurnal, dan buku-buku referensi
untuk mendapatkan gambaran masalah yang diteliti serta mengumpulkan data
sekunder yang relevan dari laporan keuangan yang dipublikasikan oleh Bursa
Efek Indonesia. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis statistik deskriptif
dan regresi linier berganda.
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa secara simultan (Uji-F)

menunjukkan bahwa variabel dewan komisaris, dewan komisaris independen,
dewan direksi, kepemilikan institusional, dan VAICTM secara bersama-sama
memiliki pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap terhadap kinerja keuangan
(ROA) perusahaan sektor infrastruktur, utilitas, dan transportasi di Bursa Efek
Indonesia. Hasil uji secara parsial (Uji-t) menunjukkan bahwa variabel dewan
komisaris, dewan direksi, dan kepemilikan institusional memiliki pengaruh yang
positif dan tidak signifikan terhadap kinerja keuangan perusahaan (ROA), variabel
dewan komisaris independen memiliki pengaruh yang negatif dan tidak signifikan
terhadap kinerja keuangan perusahaan (ROA), sedangkan variabel VAICTM
sebagai metode pengukuran Intellectual Capital (IC) memiliki pengaruh yang
positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja keuangan perusahaan (ROA).

ABSTRACT

THE EFFECT OF THE STRUCTURE OF CORPORATE GOVERNANCE
AND INTELLECTUAL CAPITAL (IC) TO FINANCIAL PERFORMANCE
OF INFRASTRUCTURE, UTILITY, AND TRANSPORTATION
COMPANIES IN INDONESIA STOCK EXCHANGE

The purpose of this research is to obtain empirical evidence about the
effect of the structure of Corporate Governance (board of commissioner, board of
independent commissioner, board of director, institutional ownership) and
Intellectual Capital (Value Added Intellectual Coefficient/VAICTM) to financial
performance (ROA) both partially and simultaneously. The type of this research is
quantitative research and the data which was used for this research is secondary
data which came from financial report which was published by Indonesia Stocks
Exchange, references of books, magazines, internet and the other science
literatures related to the research.
The methods which were used for the data collection were through the
documentation study to collect supporting data from literatures, journals and
reference books to get ideas about the issues, and also gathered relevant secondary
data from financial reports which were published by Indonesia Stock Exchange.
The methods which were used for data analysis were descriptive analysis and
multiple linear regression.

The result of this research shows that board of commissioner, board of
independent commissioner, board of director, institutional ownership, and
VAICTM simultaneously (F-Test) have a significant influence to the financial
performance (ROA) of companies which are in the sector of infrastructure, utility,
and transportation in the Indonesia Stock Exchange, and partially (t-Test) board of
commissioner, board of director, and institutional ownership have positive
influence but do not significantly affect the financial performance (ROA), board
of independent commissioner has negative influence and also do not significantly
affect the financial performance (ROA), while VAICTM as the method which was
used to calculate the Intellectual Capital (IC) has positive influence and
significantly affect the financial performance (ROA).
