1. Kim has just completed a 21 kilometre bike trip. If she had been able to ride 2
kilometres per hour faster, she would have completed her trip 15 minutes earlier. Find
her speed.
Kim baru saja merampungkan kegiatan bersepeda sejauh 21 kilometer. Jika ia dapat
menambah kecepatan bersepedanya dengan 2 kilometer untuk setiap jamnya, maka
ia dapat merampungkan kegiatannya tersebut dengan 15 menit lebih cepat.
Tentukan kecepatan bersepeda Kim.

2. Five letters are written down from left to right satisfying:
a. Only the letters A, C, G and T are used.
b. No neighboring letters are the same.
What is the probability that “CAT” will appear as three consecutive letters written from
left to right?
Lima huruf ditulis dari kiri ke kanan dan harus memenuhi syarat berikut.
a. Hanya huruf-huruf A, C, G dan T yang digunakan.
b. Dua huruf yang berdekatan tidak boleh sama.
Tentukan peluang bahwa kata “CAT” akan muncul sebagai tiga huruf berurutan dari
kiri ke kanan.

centered at the midpoint of the longest side of the
triangle. Prove that the two shaded regions have the
same area.

lingkaran terletak pada pertengahan sisi terpanjang
segitiga tersebut. Buktikan bahwa luas daerah yang
diarsir adalah sama.
