This AMENDMENT NO. 4, is entered into between the REPUBLIC OF
INDONESIA ("Borrower") and the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, acting
through the AGENCY FOR INTERNATIONAL DEVELOPMENT ("A.I.D.").

WHEREAS, the Borrower and A.I.D. entered into a General
Participant Training II Project Loan Agreement, on May 23, 1983,
("Loan Agreement"), whereby A.I.D. agreed to lend to the Borrower up
to Five Million One Hundred and Fifty Thousand United States
("U.S.") Dollars ($5,150,000) ("Loan");
WHEREAS, the Borrower and A. I . D. amended the Loan Agreement on
July 29, 1983, on February 3, 1984, and on September 28, 1984,
thereby increasing the Loan to $14,620,000;
WHEREAS, the Borrower and A.I.D. desire to amend the Loan
Agreement to add an additional $2,000,000 to the Loan;
NOW THEREFORE, the Borrower and A.I.D. hereby agr e e as follows:

The first paragraph of Section 3.1 of the Loan Agreement is

revised to read as follows:
"Section 3.1

The Loan.

To assist the Borrower to meet the

costs of carrying out the Project, A.I.D., pursuant to the Foreign
Assistance Act of 1961, as amended, agrees to lend the Borrower
under the terms of this Agreement not to exceed Sixteen Million Six
Hundred and Twenty Thousand United States ("U.S.") Dollars
($16, 6 20,000)

("Loan").

The aggregate amount of disbursements under

th e Loan is refe rr e d to as "Principal"."

A revised financial plan is attached as Annex I to this

Amendment.

Except as hereinabove expressly amended, the Loan Agreement

and Amendments thereto remain in full force and effect.
IN WI'rNESS WHEREOF, the Borrower and the United States of
America, each acting through its respective duly authorized
representative, have caused this Amendment No. 4 to be signed 1n
their names and delivered as of the date written above.
